They have their understanding obscured, being alienated from the life of God, through the ignorance that is in them, and the hardening of their Hearts. giving them selves over to being content to work filthyness and greed.

Language whilst very useful has many drawbacks.
Its non-innate, non-exact, non-universal, prone to misusage and with regards to common english it does even follow phonetic rules in its written form.
In fact one could say, that the fact that it has different forms its a drawback.
---- surely there is a more effect system/method of communitcating in the everyday world that has less drawbacks whilst being more effecient. Prehaps by using more of our senses to transfer information.
Evolution has alot to answer for...

The last few weeks have shown me how quickly and easy it is for the government and the media (Fox in particular) to whip up anti-muslim/Arab sentiments amongst the disgruntled and disillusioned majority in the USA. This is what it must have been like in Germany 1939-1945 against the Jews.

Reading here you would think that Arabs, Muslims and Mexicans are dogs. When will it be our turn? Don't be too cocooned in your false premise. I am sure many of you are thinking this.

Each of us sit in front of our computers answering questions others have posted. Or do we? Isn’t it possible that it is only you yourself that is asking and answering questions? Isn’t it possible that none of this really even exists? How do you know you are not simply a thought experiment by a higher order of being. How do you know you are not a sophisticated algorithm running on some alien computer? Would it not be possible to break down your physical form and thought processes into binary code? How can you prove to others, through this medium, that you truly exist?

I remember my sister falling into the pool when we went on vacation. She was 3 and managed to climb out of the deep end by herself screaming "I lost my eyes, I lost my eyes."

Answer: Psalms 110:1 states: "A Psalm concerning David. HaShem says to my master: 'Sit at My right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.'" There is no problem with accepting that one's descendants can rise to a more exalted position than we possess at present. There is no problem with David accepting that the Messiah will be greater than he is. But, there is nothing in this verse to show that David is referring to the Messiah when he writes 'adoni, "my master," "my lord." Moreover, there is nothing in David's words to indicate that the individual he refers to as "my master" is a divine being. David "concerning" himself wrote Psalm 110 poetically in the third person. Christians explain this verse based on New Testament exegesis. The Marcan Jesus says:
How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David? David himself said by the Holy Spirit; "The Lord [kyrios] said to my Lord [kyrio mou], 'Sit at My right hand, until I put your enemies beneath your feet.' David himself calls him 'Lord,' how is he then his son? (Mark 12:35-37).

Mark's rendering uses the Greek word kyrios, "lord," twice in the sentence, and the Christian translations into English capitalize the initial letter of the word to read "Lord" in both instances. Jesus' discourse is only possible if he and those he spoke to were conversing in Greek. The exegetical problems that Mark's Jesus refers to are only apparent in the Greek rendering and renderings from the Greek into other languages. In the Greek text, the initial kyrios is a reference to "the Lord," that is, God, and translates the Tetragrammaton (Y- H-V-H, the four letter name of God often referred to in Hebrew as HASHEM--THE NAME). The second kyrios, renders 'adoni, "my master," "my lord" (which according to Mark's understanding refers to "the Christ"). That is, the Greek, kyrios, is used to render two separate and distinct Hebrew words in the Greek translation. The confusion it creates in Greek does not exist in the Hebrew original. As a result, the Marcan Jesus' exegesis is non-existent in the Hebrew and incorrect in its understanding of the Greek rendering.

"Target" sells more Briefs than Boxers. Tell you the truth, I wear Briefs and I don't give a rat's *** what people think. I don't follow trends. I wear whatever the hell I want.

Briefs offer great support and keeps your junk in place. They also fit your body perfectly, unlike loose Boxer Shorts that bunch up when you wear jeans. Very uncomfortable.

Guys complain that Briefs are uncomforable because they're "too tight". Well, my advice is buy a different size or switch to Boxers.

A lot of females out there say Briefs are ugly. Why do you think they're ugly? You see a guy's package and butt. How is that unattractive to you? What the hell is so attractive about Boxers. I just don't see what's so good about them.

I've worn Boxers before. They f**king suck! Too much freedom and not enough support. Boxers a f**king worthless! Briefs have been around longer than these "clown shorts".
Briefs out sell Boxers. Briefs don't cause low sperm count. It's all bs. It's a urban legend.

Ladies, ever notice at how some of even the most 'refined' men loose their manners when they see a woman that is 'physically' endowed? Which of your physical features do you notice men paying alot of attention to when you are in the public eye?

I am not trying to offend anyone with this question. I have read many comments from people saying that since they are Christian and believe in God, they are going to Heaven.

I am a Christian, but I feel I am not perfect and that I am a sinner. I don't do anything crazy against the Bible. I am a pretty passive person who tries not to do harm to anyone, but I still feel that I sin and that there are certain things I do that can anger God.

So I feel in between from Heaven and Hell, I don't feel I have the ticket to go straight to Heaven and that God in the end is going to determine where I am going. I also have learned that he keeps record of all the sins we have done in a "book", to then interrogate us up there. LOL I don't know where I learned that.

I feel we aren't perfect and that we aren't better than anyone and that God judges all of the same, including non-believers.

What is your opinion?

What's the best "accidental bargain" you ever got? I DON'T mean stealing!! Like, you go to the grocery store and they mistakenly under-charge you (for example, a five-pound roast that should be $20, but it rings up as 20 cents).

I once bought a nice steak to grill for dinner (I got other items at the same time). The steak was supposed to be $7.70, but when I arrived home I realized (on the receipt) that it rang up as 77 cents!

I did think about going back to the market, but (of course) I didn't. And I grilled and ate the steak with very little guilt!

A woman is often measured by the things she cannot control. She is measured by the way her body curves or doesn't curve, by where she is flat or straight or round. She is measured by 36-24-26 and inches and ages and numbers, by all the outside things that don't ever add up to who she is on the inside. And so if a woman is to be measured, let her be measured by the things she can control, by who she is and who she is trying to become. Because every woman know, measurements are only statistics and STATISTICS LIE
