I live in the Middle East (Qatar) and I have many Muslim friends. All of which think terrorists are lunatics. The thing is, ignorant people like yourself (no offense intended) read the paper, watch the news, or any kind of world report see what is going on with terrorism. You assume the religion they claim to believe is actually true. People represent their religion, race, or country when they do something without even realizing it. However these people actually are not Muslim. No where in the entire Quran does it say suicide bombing or killing innocent people is good. And FYI, "Jihad" means holy struggle, not terrorism. People like you have to understand that there will always be twisted people in this world. If any one of us see someone doing something bad, and are representing a group of people, we should understand that not all are like that. Another problem in this world is Racial Connections. I bet, 90% of the Western World think of an Arab/Muslim when they hear the word terrorist. I am an American myself, however I have been lucky enough to see that Arabs/Muslims are not like that. If only the whole world could see it....

And for this this gentleman below me,
you keep talking about terrorists, but you have to understand that not all of the hundreds of millions of Arabs and Muslims are like that. I live in the Middle East, and I probably will be closer to terrorism than you will ever be in your life, and I understand that these so called "Followers of God" ARE crazy. In the end of your answer you say "God Loves YOU" and you also say somewhere in the middle "...my tax dollars...", so I assume you are an American Christian. You represent every Christian in America, just as terrorists do to every Muslim in the Middle East. There will be people who view this and see your ignorance, it is a sad world that we live in.

Another thought on this is that the people tolerate Hezbolla and let them live and store missles and arms in the middle of them. It is not wonder that the civilian population gets hurt.. Hezbolla still will not give back the 2 soldiers, even to have a cease fire. These people are very well armed and hate Israel at whatever cost..Hezbolla has lots of money and could have moved civilians out when Israel dropped leaflets a weeek before they bombed.. They just don't care...

In Perspective:
"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11,
2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in
Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?
Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in theMiddle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime
in Saudi Arabia.

I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling
slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out
and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of Nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their
suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest
assured that I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the
bank that I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is
complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled", you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and
other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and ----
you guessed it -
-
- I don't care ! ! ! ! !

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your e-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this
ridiculous behavior!
--"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem."
-- Ronald Reagan
I have another quote that I would like to add
"If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a
nation gone under." also by... Ronald Reagan

Remember, what ever your trials are, they will come to an end, because God Loves YOU.

Yes, of course. As a muslim who doesn't kill women and children and then hide behind my own, I'm sick of seeing such stupid people like you.

35 years ago it was the Viet Cong. It's despicable no matter who does it. Should we be mad at whites because Timothy McVeigh was white?

Doesn't make much sense does it.
