or something like that, out of pure curiosity, i always wondered what the catholics mean by this statement. anyone care to explain for me?

Instead of preaching to the choir, and trying to convert everyone and their mothers to become churchgoers, why don't you actually do something productive like helping people that are suffering. Sure some churches do clothing drives and canned food drives every once in a while, but come on... 2 hours every sunday could be time much better spent, such as helping people in jail, people on drugs, etc.

But no, you spend your time judging and condemning such people, from the safety of your churches, instead of helping them, the way Jesus went around spending his time.

Jesus didn't spend his Sundays dressing up and singing songs in beautifully furnished temples. In fact, one of the few times he went to Church, he trashed the place.

Get your head out of your a$$es, you so called 'Christians'.

One night I woke up in the middle of the night and right next to my bed over my head were a beautiful bouquet of roses suspended in the air. I kept staring at them and they kind of faded away and disappeared. I did not think too much about it. I thought maybe I was still dreaming or seeing things. But then I heard on John Edwards that our loved ones show us roses or we smell roses when our loved ones on the other side are trying to contact us and tell us that they love us. Was I being contacted?

1. In a debate, Atheists have to have all the answers or else they would claim we're wrong

2. In a debate, God believers dont have to say anything but "I have faith" They're not expected to have any answers

3. If a God believer does something wrong, it's because nobody's perfect.

4. If an Atheists does something wrong, it's because he doens't believe in God(That's what some God believers will claim)

5. Holding Atheists to higher standars only makes us smarter and better people

Do you find it odd that I dont want to celebrate my 16'th birthday tomorrow [August 7'th, Monday]?

I mean.. I'm not even interested in doing anything.

I keep getting phone calls from friends asking me what i'm doing and when I say nothing they're like "your wierd!" but its just.. the hype of birthdays never appealed to me and I hate recieving gifts. [thats just because I feel obligated to buy them something back next holiday and I dont have alot of money]..

I want to become fluent in spanish one day, and was wondering, should i try to think in spanish, instead of english? Also, when reading books, should i read them in spanish, or translate them to english in my head? (i mean should i just read them in spanish in my head without translating them?) When talking to someone, how do i just not translate stuff in my head? Like, how can i just know what they are saying in spanish without translating it? i dont understand what people mean when they say that (ex: Dont translate stuff, just listen and respond). it really confuses me! any help on how to become more fluent? thanks!

I went shopping today. Well in this cramped aisle in the shoe store these two rather large and beefy teenage boys kept passing me. They were both very polite however they had some mild to moderate B.O. going on.

I could have dealt with that but then their dad takes his shoes off (no socks) and this dude's feet smelled like DEAD FISH!!!!

Should smelly people be forced to buy shoes via the Internet???
