You have to ask forgiveness for your sins and be truly sorry. For those who did not ask, or who were not truy repentant, Judgment day assigns them to hell...

Something like that...

In order to repent of your sins, you need to stop what you are doing. the final judgment will come to all. You are judged to how you lived your life. If you were righteous then your judgment is not a judgment to condemnation. Your judgment is to live with god again and even become as he is. Everyone will be judged on different levels.

You will find that who ever will lie, cheat, steal, commit adultery, murder and all manner of evil that can be repented of will have a sore judgment indeed at the final judgment.

No one is perfect, we all sin to a degree, and the atonement of Christ will atone for the rest of the things about us that are not perfect. But we are to live the commandments to the best of your knowledge. Their are some things that you can do perfect such as, living a clean life away from drugs and alcohol. You can never cheat on your spouse, now that is one thing that you can do perfectly. and if you ever do something wrong, then you can stop what you did wrong and never do it again, then you can be forgiven.

The only way that someone can truly be forgiven is if they pray to God and ask for forgiveness. You can't do bad things and sin and expect to be forgiven. If you never say your sorry or recognize your wrong doings, it's hard to say that you will be forgiven for something you don't want to be forgiven for. We will all face judgment day but not all of us will admit to our wrong doings!

there will be a Judgment Day and we will be judged for our actions and choices by God. if we accepted Jesus and his Gospel, then he will be our advocate.

I can understand your confusion, and I'll try to give you an answer that will help you =)

if we truly repent (i.e. confess to God and right the wrong we did, if possible, and try our best to change so we won't do 'it' [sin, transgression, our weaknesses] again, and usually we have to ask for God's help to overcome it) then we are forgiven and we wouldn't have anything to fear on Judgment Day. the only thing with humans is, that we're not perfect and pretty much sin everyday...because a sin is a sin in God's sight, and we have to repent for everything.
the only difference I think between a 'big' sin and a 'small' sin is how we repent (using the Lord's name in vain is different from stealing something, for example).

we grow everyday and try to get closer to God and strengthen our relationship with Him, and I believe that repentance is a key to becoming more like Christ.

Judgment Day will be our time to see what we did on earth and how it pleased God and the Lord...and then we'll be judged, I believe, also for being truly sorry and repent. God knows what we truly think and intent...

Because we are forgiven in several different "tenses."

We were forgiven when we accepted Christ's death on the cross in place of our own.

We are forgiven daily when we repent of our sins.

We continue to be forgiven as God knows we are not yet free of sin.

We will be forgiven on the last day when ALL must stand before the throne of judgment.

In part, I believe this is because God treats us all equally. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory. But when we come before the judge, Jesus, he will recognize and declare that the fine or penalty for our sins have already been paid.

You see it is not that we have not sinned, but that the penalty has been paid. God cannot just ignore our sin. If he could, Jesus would not have had to come. Instead, it is like going to court and finding that the fine was already paid. You were guilty of speeding (or whatever), but someone else paid the fine for you. You still have to show up in court and admit your guilt.

But the Bible also teaches that we do not have to fear the judgment--respect it, yes, but we approach God's throne in the confidence of Jesus' promise to stand in our place.

Therefore, he is not only the judge and jury, but also the defense attorney, and ultimately the payment itself. He is afterall the ultimate enigma!!! Gotta love him for how he defies our logic!!!

because we were all counted as sinners so that Jesus could die for all of our sins instead of picking and choosing. And then even though we can be forgiven, we have to ask for forgiveness. If we are content to simmer in our sin than it is not God's job to force Himself upon us. We have free will and even Christians can sin.

It will be a happy day for the "sheep"

that is a good question, you will be judge for everything. you could of lead a good life and never excepted christ and still go to hell. God knows everything. and when you are forgiven the bible says your sins are washed away. Its like it never happened. so you wont be judged for the sins you asked forgives for

Judgment is consequence of sin where you receive the punishment for the sin. Forgiveness of sin means that you will be spared the God-given punishment for the sin, however not everyone is forgiven so there's still a need for judgment.

I grew up in a Christian home, so feel qualified to answer. (I am a Christian, too, but not as conservative as my parents.) My understanding of Judgement Day is that only those who haven't accepted Jesus are judged. If you are forgiven then you are not held accountable for your sins.

There is a Reward System in Heaven for the Children of GOD.
After it is all over with, each one of us will GAIN Reward's or LOSE Reward's according to everything we did (thought, word and deed). We will not be Judged at the White Throne Judgement, which is for the LOST.
When you get to HEAVEN, and step out of the Transportation Device, you WILL have on The GARMENT of SALVATION, everybody will.
BUT, if you do REAL GOOD down here on EARTH, you will have The Garment of Salvation AND A ROBE of RIGHTEOUSNESS, there are alot of other Reward's too, let's just wait and SEE! It is going to be Exciting. Hope this helps.

There are 2 types of judgements.1.The Judgement Seat of Christ which is for the people who go to heaven they get judged based on their good deeds like feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty.clothe the naked, helping the needy,etc....2nd is the White Throne Judgement its for the people that didnt accept the Lord Jesus Christ in their heart as their Saviour and they get judged for the wrong things they've done and sadly enough go to eternal darkness...

Note:In the Judgement Seat of Christ, Jesus judges you and in The White Throne Judgement, God the Father a.k.a THE BIG GUY judges the bad people
