Yes, and we agreed what happens in New Orleans, stays in New Orleans. Jazz fest 1991! Love, peace, and crawfish grease!

I have never seen anybody from my hometown here where I now live. I was always different. Most of the people I grew up around never ventured out of the state and now live next to mom and dad. That's not a bad thing, but I think its a bit boring. The only thing they know is what they see on TV....and TV is never accurate.

Yes, and isn't kind of funny how exciting that is? I mean, you could run into someone that you never really connect with in your hometown, but because you meet a familiar face in an unusual place, suddenly your share this amazing connection, almost like you're best buds.

what has this got to do with religion or spirtuality?
but yes back in 99/2000 i bumped in to an old girlfriend while helping a friend in another city.
i traveled from my town to the UK capital, and on the return journey i bumbed into the ex she was working for the coach/ bus company we were traveling on, she was just getting some supplies to transfer to her bus from ours.
a strange feeling. if i'd been on my own i'd have swapped bus and travelled with her to catch up on her life. as i still love and miss her, and think about her everyday.
but not wanting to get her into trouble i have not called the bus company since as i'm sure they would not pass on the message that i was wantiong to speak to her.
enough of my life.
has this ever happened to the asker?

Yes, Every year I go to bike week. And without fail I always see someone I know. Either a friend, neighbor, or my SISTER-IN-LAW. Keep in mind my SIL has no motorcycle and really doesn't have a reason to be there.

ALL the time. Mostly, though, I see students in weird places (I am a teacher). And they are grown up and I don't recognize them, but they recognize me. And I teach in a pretty rural place, but I've even seen some out of state!
