Let's say it's some kind of unspectacular algae...but, still life.

Does this have any impact, in your opinion, on Creationism?

Not at all. The Bible never said that God didn't create life anywhere else. Given the vast number of galaxies, solar systems, and planets in the universe, it is not unlikely that there is life elsewhere. It could even be possible that there are worlds which never had a Fall. The auther C.S. Lewis writes about this possibility in his space trilogy. It is a work of religious fiction, but the concept is quite interesting.

Truthfully, I doubt it.

Creationism is a matter of blind faith, not reason.

It's a shame. Perhaps the Christians might do better to follow the example of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

He's said that if scientific evidence is discovered which contradicts Buddhist belief...than Buddhist belief must change.

It must be wonderful to have a system of belief which can expand so readily to embrace all of science.

Not for me; I don't think much of creationism to begin with.

I wouldn't think that it should. God could choose to create life on any planet, but that doesn't deny evolution.
