Recent advances in polygraph technology indicate that soon a machine might be available that can detect if someone is lying with 100% accuracy. Looking a little further into the future, if such a machine was minaturised and assuming costs were reduced such that it could be made available to the general public, what might happen if everyone had such a device?

The other day some one was saying that, he paid for one of on-line dating and then he found out lots of female pictures are just fake and were copied from the internet?
Well, maybe we should create a software to check if the pictures are belong to life or were nicked from the cemeteries 

We are hosting my mother-in-law from Canada for two weeks in October. We are having my family over to meet her. It is also our son's 2nd birthday. We are planning on having the gathering outdoors (weather permitting). Would it be wrong to treat it as a potluck and ask everyone to bring a covered dish? 1.) Why does it matter if the definition of the word "marriage" changes?
2.) Why does the "tradition" of marriage matter, despite many gay people getting married in the past?

I've lived here for 2 years and I'm moving. I've met some truly great people here but if I had to speak generally, I'd say this part of the country is truly the most unwelcoming and unfriendly to those that they do not know.

I've got a court order to go to AA meetings 2 times a week. I've been there and can't stand it. My question is can I have people I know sign my paper that I have to show my probation officer saying that I went to the meetings and get away with it.

I visualize (from a global standpoint) Egypt, Israel & Syria in thirds. That (in the future) the other nations in the area become states within these three nations.
