What a useless question. Unless you're expecting every single person in the world to answer, what could you possibly learn from this?

I'm glad you have quoted that passage from the bible, because there are three words missing, it should say "For God so loved the world he gave his only son for three days".

I don't believe in God but for those who do, Jesus died on Friday and rose on Sunday, so he was dead for no more than three days.

When I was 28 years old my wife died. Why couldn't she have died for only three days, I could have well lived with that. I know I am never going to see her again, that is fact.

God was created by man, as was the Bible. The Bible should be placed in the Science Fiction category because that is where it belongs.

I believe in God. But not in any of the Judeo-Christian-Islam mythos. The very idea that God made man in his image is ludicrous. Its called anthropamorphism and to apply such a practice to the supreme being is the greatest sin man has ever committed. God is beyond description and understanding. Its understandable that man would try to understand God by relating God to himself, ultimately wrong but understandable.

I could not love a God that had to kill as many people as he has. Nor any God that punishes a few non-believers with eternal hell. Why would you even want to believe in such a thing?
