First of all, the emotion of moodiness does not belong to black people. What I think is you're too chicken to talk to the actual person who "offended" you, so you are going online making this into a race issue. THAT my friend is above and beyond ignorant.

Grow a back bone and go talk to the person who was giving you attitude. Maybe they are having a bad day, maybe YOU did something to get on their nerves..just like you have gotten on mine. I will say this, if you act like this in your daily life you deserve to be told off!

Signed,

Another Black Woman Giving You Attitude!

First of all, maybe the women u ran into were having a bad day. Honestly,If they were white would you even think twice about it or say that all white women were defensive??
Second, maybe you did say something that offended them, even though u didnt realize it. I hope you didnt ask them if their hair was real or anything like that, cuz thats very rude and offensive...

Could it be that there isn't a minute of the day or night that some racist a.s.shole isn't offending us?

Maybe we are sick and tired of it. We are bombarded with that sh*t all the time.

You just got a little of that sh*t back and you're already on Y!A whining and complaining.

You may notice that we do not initiate the topic of race, we simply respond to the numerous questions whites pose.

Race/Color it don't matter. All women go off on people if they deserve it. Like for example, if some man says something ignorant, I will tell him off, and he'll be like what? what did I do? They think with the little head too much and not the big head enough.

i've had similar experiences--and i am a woman of color, but not african-american. i think that those women who respond like that, struggle w/their own image, have self-esteem issues and have a "chip" on their shoulder. I think this also comes out w/me because they feel i am somehow in competition w/them. it does make me sad, because some of them could actually be my mentor, but they are very defensive. I think that some of them are angry and are taking it out on whoever is infront of them. By the way, i find this to be more true w/the women than the men.

People who are defensive are actually showing insecurity. When someone, anyone for no good reason "goes off" on you, it's because "they" are having a bad day, or for whatever reason cannot come out of their own "personal space" or their "preoccupation with themselves" to participate in the world around them.

Has nothing to do with skin color.

For real though a bunch of black women are crazy. But the majority are nice. I have a bad temper but it takes alot to set me off.

I dont think that has anything to do with anyone's race. Has a white woman never gone off on you? Every race has their b*tchy women, dont try to put it off on one race, because that is just unfair.

Because when one person makes fun of us or comes off to others that their making fun we have to wait a long time to regain respect or dignity because of our stereotypical back rounds.

I don't think it has anything to do with race. It has more to do with the person and their individual personality. I myself can be one of the nicest people but when you piss me off I go off.
