Hate em.
They're the only people I just flat out hate.
You asked. I'm just being honest.
Sorry.

I have these freinds, Punima and Paruri. They were neighbors of mine. There was another couple from Pakistan next door to them. I lived accross the hall.

The first thing I noticed is that they leave thier doors open for thier neighbors. The 2 ladies would cook up a storm all day long, in and out of eachothers apartments in a joint effort to cook. It always smelled so good.
So, I had a birthday party, and invited them over. We had a great time and they invited us to diner. Let me tell you something. When a human from India says you need to eat the yogurt after the meal, listen to them. I crapped fire for a week.

I learned a bunch of other cool stuff. Did you know that some of them sleep on Marble because it stays cool? Did you know there are two different castes of religion, the lower that most of us are familiar with. Then the upper, which, after reading about it sounded like all of the other religions. The thing I admire most about it is that when a male reaches 50, he leaves all his posessions and his family to live homeless. How long the person survives is a testament as to the state of thier Kharma.

They have legalized marijuana. The way they do it is that manual laborors mostly use it for muscle pain and to calm down. They have it legal and most don't care to try it.

There is a lot to be learned from India. Some of the brightest programmers I met where from there.

Indian People? Like them just fine, have some of the best food in the world. Now are we talking middle eastern? Islamic extremists? We have a high poulation of east indians. Very hard working, very nice people. Try too hard to be nice and accepted I think, but all in all good people. There good in bad in all races, so I could pose the same question to you. What do you think of white american people.............

Indians are really cool and they blend into American culture quite easily. They are better educated and harder-working than Americans as well, but who isn't.

There is a huge shift of jobs leaving USA for India currently, and this trend will continue unless something drastic in America occurs (not likely.)

Love the culture, hate the curry. I only hate 4 Indian people, and that's because they're my neighbors in an apartment building and my apartment sometimes stinks of curry, and there is constantly the sound of a screaming little kid. There nationality would have nothing to do with it if it weren't for the curry.

unfortunately I have a bad opinion of the men. They come from a society where woman are still considered beneath men and practically considered property. I can only judge from the Indian men I have met (actually quite a lot) they have a real air of arrogance, they believe they are better than anyone and deserve special privledges. Why is that?

A few years back I had an Indian (not American Indian) friend named Gonga Sin.

And I always greeted him with "Did Gonga Sin today?
And he would always reply with 'Yes Gonga Sin today- but only with my wife'...that says a lot about Indians doesn't it?

Sadly he died a couple of years ago and I miss him.

Far be it from me to generalize, but I quite like Indian people. Based on the many Indian people I've met, they tend to be intelligent, respectful, and kind.
