First of all, I'd like to state that satan is NOT the ruler of this world. As humans,WE were given dominion over the earth by God. People try to limit christianity's influence because it constricts their behavior and convicts their spirit.

This is a peculiar question. I'm not sure where you live, however in this country, for 200 years, christianity has been the "given" in our culture. As our culture has evolved < and even if you do not believe in "evolution" you must admit that culture evolves> it has been pointed out that many people ARE NOT christian and for the government/society to just assume everybody is christian and treat them accordingly is not proper.
Our founding fathers made certain that the government cannot hold one "faith" in higher regard than another. It has just taken over 200 years for our society/population to change enough for the "minority" to have enough of a voice to make a stand.
What you are experiencing, as a chirstian, isn't restriction of rights, it's equalization... and those who were once "favored" usually feel a restriction when equalization happens. It hurts a little bit sometimes, however, its for the best.
Where do you live that you are limited in practicing your faith? I, too, would like some examples of what you are talking about... or are you just repeating something you heard?

Christianity is considered offensive. Just as when Jesus walked on this earth the same sense remains. You are not allowed to say what you believe in your heart on a street corner. Just as the early Christians were fed to the lions so are we condemned. There are those that would enjoy seeing it to the death again, Read Revelations it may be able to explain this to you. Then pray.

Because in this country, Minority rules. Provided the minority happens to not be Christian that is. If all 2000 Seniors of a local highschool want prayer at their graduation, it will be turned down if one of them doesnt. If 2000 Seniors want to wear pentagrams on their robes, they will even if there are Christians who oppose it. If a Muslim shoots a Christian, it is just violence, if a Christian shoots a Muslim it is a "hate crime"
For being "One Nation Under God" it certainly doesn't act like it.

To be fair, as a Christian, you're biased. "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." I'm sure if I was Christian, I'd complain about the limits placed on me, but as an Agnostic... well, admittedly, there's very little limits on being an agnostic; you're allowed to spout nonsensical philosophical ramblings all you want. But if I want to get married, I have difficulty avoiding religion, if I want to avoid religion.

You know, I wonder too. But the word of the Lord has to be fulfilled. The Bible says the at the last days, we will be persecuted and He does not lie. So little by little, we loosing our rights. Before, we were able to say that homosexuals will not enter the Kingdom of God, and now we can't say it cause it is considered a hate crime and we could be put in jail. Yeah, put in jail for speaking the Word of the Lord.

Of course they have more rights. There were more children from the "bondswoman than the freewoman"
In other words, there's fewer Christians than unbelievers.
Satan has this world in his hands. Why do you think there's so much vulgarity in television, books, movies, rap music, etc.
We will never have the majority vote regarding the world's issues...but our day is coming!

Since it is such a widely accepted religion, I think that it is the first one for people to cast doubt on. I think some people feel like you are "shoving it down their throat" if you practice religion, but the fact of the matter is, that it's a free country, and you can worship whatever you want to, so do it proudly!

Good question..generally laws are created to protect those who are being abused or in the minority not those who are not having problems and in the majority. Kinda like if your house is on fire, you get the fireman's attention not your neighbor who has no fire problem.
You are free to practice christianity. Non christians are often not free to practice theirs.

If you believe that you have more limitations on your practices than non-Christians, I would like to know where you are getting this misinformation.
I have to be careful that my pentacle necklace doesn't show. How's that for limits?
