She said with certainty that God will heal him. I pray for his healing everyday too, but I'm a deist and I believe in rational things. But she says he WILL be healed as if God actually told her. It's up to God whether or not He heals, I won't doubt it. I'm uncertain, not doubtful.
How many people who has cerebral palsy gets healed? I know life can be made easier for people with cerebral palsy but ... my mom expects full healing. Did God give her that idea? Why be so positive if there is a chance of disappointment, unless she is totally positive and God himself told her. What if she ends up disappointed? Will she stop believing? The church leaders keep telling her to stay faithful. Are they just trying to keep her playing the game?
What if she blames ME for lack of faith, and that's why he doesn't get healed?
This is totally ridiculous, isn't it?
No religious propaganda, please. Only facts are allowed here. My knowing of a Creator is based on the fact of existence.

I have read many of the responses in the gay and lesbian area?and i think its sick what some of you straight people r posting. it is so sad that you guys can judge us but we never judge you for who u r. If we see another Christian who is behaving in an un-Christlike manner even to the point of angering others purposely and posting hurtful, hateful things meant only to insult and inflame, aren't we told to correct them in love? Just out of curiousity, and I am *not* trying to offend anyone or start a huge battle. I'm curious as to why so many people have become fascist about so many different things lately. I use the term fascist because some people are just gung-ho. I'm not talking your normal "I don't agree with it, and here's why...". I mean the ones who try to get laws passed, argue incessently until you give up your own point of view, etc.
Recent topics that I've noticed include: Smoking, anything having to do with religion (Christians v. Non-believers), homosexuality, the war, seatlbelts, etc.
Like I said .. I'm strictly talking about the ones that go off the deep-end. NOT your average point-of-view kinda thing. I *welcome* different points of view ... I do NOT welcome being worn down trying to explain myself, for instance, when the topic wasn't even about me to start with.
Any thoughts?

i always see this.. Asians are known for martial arts and being smart, Japan anime.. japan shows are shown in american tv. young people grow up to love Asia and even become really intelligent about Asian stuff, sometimes even more than what they know about America itself. But they don't seem interested in South america even if we latins are all around usa.

Hi there you lot across the pond.... Many people from the USA refer to the UK as England (which is VERY annoying by the way)....BUT the UK consists of FOUR countries: England, Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland. It seems from past experience that many of you Americans have not even heard of Wales. We are a nation which has our own identity, culture & language. I was working as a temp for a company called The Computer Merchant which I was offered an assignment at a company called CSC! I was terminated from this job because "I was late". I just recently found out it was because "I was a distraction" in a male dominated work place where there were 4 females out of about 50 employees. I am very curvacious and dressed purposely very maude to avoid this because I dealt with it in the Army. What do you all think about this and can any one else relate I had to ask because it helps me vent!
