I don't think my religion (Buddhism) is better than others, and in fact it's definitely not for everyone. Religion has never been a "one size fits all" type of topic! Most people will pick a religion based on their own personal views on spirituality.
I can tell you a couple of the reasons I cherish my religion. 1.) I've never had a Buddhist banging down my door giving me choices in absolutes. 2.) This religion is about personal enlightenment and compassion to others. I have yet to see a Buddhist terrorist or read about Buddhists waging war! 3.) The Buddhist writings lay down a path that anyone can follow to reach enlightenment. It's not easy, but then the best things in life never are!
I could really go on and on, but if you want to learn about Buddhism, the path lies waiting for you to walk it. The first step is yours to take when you are ready.

We're pretty big on baked goods in my thing, but that doesn't make us better. It may make us bigger but definitely not better. But the biggest ( not better but bigger, say that three times fast and try not to laugh ) thing I've found is we all like pie, or some other baked confection or even main course. For is not a pizza a baked good. Are there any who would not indulge in a slice. Can any one remember a time of no donuts. We are all the same, baked good or not. Oh, by the way the religion I've adopted of course is Pieganism, my name is Dram; and I'm a Piegan.

Because mine is based on nature, history, science and logic. Most all if not all other religions are based on wild fairytales. Most all other religions are based on lies and are very destructive with the most suicidal being christ insanity (potent poison indeed).
Actually it is best for each high quality person to decide on his own religion and or moral codes. It is fine to evaluate and if constructive accept the moral codes created by others. It is foolish to accept moral codes you were born and indoctrinated into without first evaluating them. Only those fools with slave like minds are born into moral codes and contracts created by others now long dead. My religious ideology is actually closer to the ideas expressed in the book "Might Is Right" by Ragnar Redbeard - than anything else in existance. However if I had to choose a religion created by others it would be Creativity. It is the best one out there. It is also a good religion for the stupid masses of White folk that need proper constructive direction and need a moral compass and are unable to create a worthwhile one on their own.

Maybe if you asked why its different than others you would get 'better' responses. On this note, My religion sect sponsers foreign ministries to introduce others to a loving God, we have seven Acredited colleges accross America (and since i haven't looked lately) many grade schools for people who are disallusioned with Public Education. We feed the poor on a regular basis, have great picnics and summer camps for teenagers. We are active in making our environments better; So is it better? Naw, pretty much run of the mill.

Because my 'religion' is based on God's relationship with an entire nation for thousands of years, not the lunatic ravings of a madman sitting at an oasis saying his followers should kill all who refuse to believe in his fantasies. Mine is a God who says we should love our enemies and He has sent His word to us so that we may learn the way to holiness. Of course if you look around, you will see that most people are interested in instant self-gratification rather than concerned with the needs of others. Good luck in your quest. Try reading the Holy Bible. It will change your life. I know this from experience.

My religion is not better than others. It is the one I choose because it is what I believe. My religion does not teach that ours is better than others. It also does not teach that you must believe as we do in order to go to heaven.

Actually, I don't think my religion is "better". I am more spiritual than I am religious. I do not think just one religion is going to heaven. I do not care what or who a person believes in, as long as it is a peace loving "God". I feel God just wants us to be kind to our fellow human-being.

Because it doesnt tell people they are going to hell for being gay,(which is more of a cultural thing, not religious) or they sin for spending too much money. my religion has been the best path of self relization. also my religion doesnt have people blowing up buildings for money, or ect. it is a peaceful one. my religion.. not names, but in the likes of hinduism. there is actuallyno best, this one is the best for me though.
