Why are there so may people who haven't evolved into anti theists?

Because if you choose not to believe you actually have to use your brain. Theists can just say that science is false and that you should believe in their god. Most choose to take on that role of being a mouth without a mind behind it, which is why they won't stop having blind faith.

I waiver on the edge, I'm not anti-theists but I'd say I am anti-religion...most religions I can think of anyway.

You see I'm not anti-individuals but I'm against some of the daft and dangerous institutions they become aligned to and some of the ideas and blind beliefs they hold.

Intellect is a byproduct of evolution, not an end in itself. Also, many people who do not believe in a Deity recognize that a "deity" is a useful symbol for many, and for many different reasons. These people do not spend energy actively advocating against a deity, and many of them use the "deity" for their own ends.

i was an agnostic because there wasn't proof, but if you found a god i'll have to be a theist: i don't generally argue with reality.
