Albert Einstein said ‘Science without Religion is lame, and Religion without Science is blind’.

Bible says in the book of Leveticus, Ch. No.14, Verse No.49 to 53 - it gives a novel way for disinfecting a house from plague of leprosy, disinfecting a house from plague of leprosy. It says that… ‘Take two birds, kill one bird, take wood, scale it - and the other living bird, dip it in water… and under running water - later on sprinkle the house 7 times with it. Sprinkle the house with blood to disinfect against plague of leprosy? You know blood is a good media of germs, bacteria, as well as toxins

Where does one's religious freedom start and ends?
When does one's freedom of speech conflict with another person's religious freedom?
Does telling somebody to convert to another religious take away his/her religious freedom?
When somebody says to another person that his/her religion is not way to reach god an insult to his/her religion?

I used to live in Atlanta, GA for a little bit and while I was there, the homeless population was greater than I've ever seen in any place I have been. To a point, it saddens my heart to see them in the condition that they are in, however, it also makes me wonder; how do they see the world? Us who have jobs or some form of income probably dont think about this as much, because we are blessed, but for those who have not; what is it that is going through their heads. I understand that some have no form of education, some got fired, layed-off, or are just plain lazy. For those who had something and lost it; through no fault of their own, how do they view our society? Sometimes, it seems they know something that we dont. Are we crazy for thinking of them the way we do, or they crazy for what they think of us?

When you try to imagine what it will be like, what do you see? What are the first images that pop into your head?

Any and all areas of life on planet earth: ecology, transportation, food production, distribution and diet, energy and shared resources, fashion, technology and science, religion and spirituality, media, politics and government, wild places and animals, hunger and world suffering, the moral heartbeat of humanity.....and the list goes on.......

what are the first images that pop into your head -- thinking about 50 years from now?

First off, I do know the meanings of each word. I'm just always a little confused about when to use cuál and not qué in a question and vice versa. Do you have any rules to help me remember? Because it's really not just a translation of when you would use "which" or "what" in English...unless I've been using "which" and "what" wrong my whole life.

For example, when learning Spanish, they tell us that "cuál" is for when you have a choice, when there are a fixed set of options. However, you would say "¿De qué parte de España eres?" and not "¿De cuál parte eres?" so the rule doesn't seem to hold... it seems that there are only a fixed amount of parts of Spain, bue you don't say cuál...

This is something that still confuses me, and I'm pretty sure that most of the times I have ever used cuál, I've been wrong :)

Also, again, I do know the meanings of each in English, but thanks.

It is an insult to God to believe in God. For on the one hand it is to suppose that he has perpetrated acts of incalculable cruelty. On the other hand, it is to suppose that he has perversely given his human creatures an instrument--their intellect--which must inevitably lead them, if they are dispassionate and honest, to deny his existence. It is tempting to conclude that if he exists, it is the atheists and agnostics that he loves best, among those with any pretensions to education. For they are the ones who have taken him most seriously ~ Galen Strawson

It seems like Israel is doomed unless it's more level-headed citizens step up and insist that they're government and compatriots stop fighting tit for tat battles against a few extremist terrorists. How many innocents deserve to die so that Israel can continue to try and prove how "tough" it is? Maybe Zionists and Islamic Terrorists should sit down at a big table with plates and bowls full of the blood and innards of their wives and children and whoever can eat the most wins...

Regarding all religons, christanity, islamic, hindu, muslem, jewish, whatever, why is it that each one is perfect and many people cannot open thier eyes and and at least have respect for others. It seem all of these teach intolerance toward other faiths. History condems opressive leaders such as Hitler, Tojo, Stalin, but you rarely hear the spirtual leaders causing war and destruction with other factions, being mentioned

also if i threaten you with some horrible punishment if you do not do something for me, such as a gun to your head if you do not give me your wallet, do you really feel free not to give the man your wallet anyway, and if this is freedom, well i guess you win.

Let's see the beliefs and proofs come out here.

Personally, I don't believe in Santa Claus because I caught my mom putting the presents out when I was young and the next couple years *I* was Santa Claus for the younger kids.

However, that doesn't mean there couldn't be some mysterious red suited man at the North Pole making presents right? If you don't believe in him, why do you believe in God?

A lot of people use the belief that you can't prove beyond doubt God doesn't exist so you must believe in him. Well, I say to those that say that, if you can't prove Santa Claus doesn't exist, you must believe in him too.

Curious to see if people actually do believe that way.

Gordon Allport found that people orientate themselves towards religion in two different ways: Intrinsic and Extrinsic. People who use religion for some sort of gain (be it social gain or personal gain) are label as Extrinsic. They use religion as a means to an end.

Intrinsics, on the other hand, use religion as a personal life map. They let their religious beliefs set the stage for all their personal life settings.

Your thoughts? Where would you fall? Is Allport wrong?

I found this kinda interesting. Serious answers. P (long but interesting). Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: So likewise ye, (Israel) when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

The fig tree is Israel. This is because in Jeremiah's prophecies he used 'Figs' as a symbol of the children of Israel. If figs are the children, Israel must be the father, the fig tree.

'When her branch Is yet tender' means that Israel will still be a new state (it was founded in May 1948).
'Putteth forth leaves' could mean when Israel recaptured all of Jerusalem in June 1967.
'Summer is nigh' means that the end of the world is near.

So soon after Israel takes Jerusalem the end of the world will occur. It says 'this generation shall not pass till all these tings be fulfilled'.

A generation in the Bible is 40 years, so the end of the world will be 40 years after 1967: 2007.
