I never condone hate against any religion, but making fun, satire and humour about relgionsis ok. Religions lack humour. Laugh and you'll be free. Christians wish to be hated, but not by me.

When the science community makes a discovery or modifies a theory they publish a paper for all to view, speculate on, and debate. Invariably such discoveries open up our simplistic minds and expand our horizons. Examples would be the works of Einstein and Hawking, to name a very small sample.

So why do preachers have to continually pump their one theory (God exists) down our throats? Why do they stand on street corners and hand out leaflets, yell at passers by, gather huge crowds and push unsuspecting victims over in the belief they will be cured of whatever mental or physical ailment invades them, if they just believe in the theory of God?

Why can’t the believers of religious theory just behave in a decent manner, in much the same way as the scientific community does?

Everywhere I go, he's there too. Sometimes behind me, sometimes in front of me or to the side. The only time I can't see him is when it's completly dark. He never makes a sound though. Am I being stalked?

I was raised to believe that I could date anyone no matter what their color was, where they came from ect. My mom always taught me and my sister that we could date whom ever we choose as long as the guy treated us with dignity and respect.
As I am older, I still see nothing wrong with it. Does anyone think i'm crazy or do you feel like I do?

I mean who the hell cares? Why can't you people share your own opinions without quoting some stupid bible vers. that no one cares about? You have a mind, why not use it?
I can just see these people in a conversation. ( I bill, how are you?

First of all, no, I'm not some religious fundamentallist trying to poke holes in your atheistic groove. I'm agnostic myself. But a thought occured to me the other day, and I was wondering if anyone would care to react to it.

One encounters quite a few portrayls of non-believers (atheists, whatever you want to call them) in movies and whatnot who have "lost their faith" because of all the hatred and violence and bloodshed and whatnot in the world. "What kind of a God would allow all these things to happen?" these characters ask.

Well...and I am speaking purely hypothetically...what if all the bloodshed and horror and violence and whatnot in the world didn't necessarily mean that whatever God exists is a loving, caring, friendly kind of God? I mean, bloodshed and violence and mayhem don't necessarily mean that God doesn't *exist*; couldn't it also mean that said God just likes bloodshed and violence and pain? Why would whatever God exist be a loving and caring God?
