Actually some people can hear the electric buzzing through electronics. I can hear it, but a lot of my friends freak when I go through the house looking for the source of something that they can't hear. I'm nearly blind so my hearing is a bit better than theirs.

pour 5 gallons of gasoline on the junk and stand back. then throw a road flare at the heap. when it ignites the buzzing should stop.
