i think we shouldn't look at who specifically..there are tons of people making a differences that will do good for humanity, every time i see grandfathers, grandmothers, mother, fathers, brothers or sisters taking care of bringing joy, or working hard so that humanity has a better future, then the group effort will be better than any single person...
but if you absolutely need to have 1 person...i would have to say my father, because he taught me good values and to help people around me. he taught me that the person is temporary, but an ideaology lasts for ever.

I can't have an opinion about this, as I am quite sure there are many people with whom I am unaquainted, who are doing great and wonderful things of which I know nothing. The people who I do know about are those who are the best at self-promotion, and I'm not sure they count as being inspiring. Since their motives come under suspicion, even though I know they are doing great things, I would hesitate to say they are doing THE MOST good..

Jesus is doing the most good for the future of humanity; in heaven! He is now the King and he will soon show the world and Satan in the future. People don't believe it, but he is still alive and he is watching every single person on this place of earth. (Acts 2: 22-24)

Ronald Reagan is dead, but his entire life (not just politics) is the most inspiring life I have ever studied. His selflessness, since of right and wrong, unbending character and genuine love for America and the rest of the world.

Well i think its researchers who are looking for cures to diseases. Just look how far health care has come along in the last 10 years - it is quite a big jump and if your younger you probably havent really noticed the leap in quality compared to some one who has lived through it. And they do it without a television camera following their every move.
