Yes, when I was a child my mom always told me of when she was a child and prayed for something her family was very in need of (which she went into her closet to do). When I was about 13, my mom was not in my life at the time and I went into my closet and prayed for her to be present, and like the next day, I got a phone call saying she was moving back and was already in town. I was pretty blown away. I have had many answered prayers, but most of them were not sudden or instant.

Yes, several times. God knows that I am a person that needs things clearly indicated. Well, I ask for the answer to be clear because I don't want to wonder if it was just from my own mind. But, I will say this, having a need met this way is not always the easiest. Also, it can be a witness to others who are watching the situation unfold.

Not in a time of great need. I have had severe pain that I've prayed for relief from and gotten immediate relief from. I've also prayed formy husband to stop snoring like a freight train and gotten immediate relief. Seriously.

Yes. =) While I know that God is real and He is so good, I realize time and time again that He is more real and more good that I know. Call it a pleasant surprise.
