I would like to know what nationality the last name Messner is. You know how you can tell what nationality someone is if you recgonize their last name, I would like to know if anybody recognizes what the last name Messner is.

Austrian usually, might be German or Swiss, the countries are close and people move around.

umm im not sure,go to www.babynames.com and search the name, it has a bunch of names and it tells the nationality it comes from
