How did it come to this? Both of you are not Christians?

Seek a Christian counselor.

Well Sister.

God is for marriage because God instituted marriage. God on the other hand didn't allow divorce. I am not condemning you or anything.

Things went wrong in a marriage but that's normal. I have seen a lot of married couples who didn't hold on their marriage vows when things go wrong. They gave up making the marriage work. Living with another person is nothing easy. Changing someone is difficult. No one ever said it's going to be easy. Just do not consider the give up option. Ok?

Now when you are married, you and your spouse is one. So if you are clean, you make your spouse clean. It's light that drives out darkness. It's Jesus's health that drives out sickness. In 1 Cor. 7:14, as far as God is concerned, your husband is already sanctified. Whether he do or believes what a normal sanctified person is another thing. Believe God! Ok?

Finally if you need any encouraging word, know that
You will not be tempted beyond what you can bare.
God is for you and not against you.
If God is for you, who can be against you?
God has promised that He will never leave you or forsake you.
You may not know what tomorrow holds but you know who holds tomorrow.
He is your shepherd, you are not in want.
In this life, we will have trials and temptation. We will have troubles in this life, (only dead people do not have problems) but take heart that He has overcome it all!
You are more than conquerers because He has conquered it all for you.
Do not worry for each day will have it's own worry.
You can rest and trust in God because He loves us and He is willing to help you and also He is able to.
God loves us perfectly and perfect love cast out fears.
No weapon formed against you shall proper because you are established in His righteousness.

You know Sister, this is what the bible says about you. Just be with people who can remind you of who you really are in this world and what God has already given you. =) You have always been in good hands. God Bless.

God knows your situation. There is no situation in a believer's life that is not there for his purposes.
Keep praying and persevring in obedience... he has not forgotten about you.
I never thought that I would be divorced ( after a 21 year marriage ). I had become a believer and she was very hostile to me fffor years and eventually had affairs. - it was devastating to my 4 children and me ( who are all believers!)
Though God gives free will - which she practiced! God had great things for me. A wonderful woman at my church went through the same thing at the same time with her husband.
We now have a wonderful Christian marriage and I returned to school and got my graduate degree. Someone who also had been divorced told me "God provides", and he does.
Leave it in his hands - he NEVER wants divorce but he never stops giving his best to us.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your iwn understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways and he will make your path straight." Proverbs 3:4,5
"And we know that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord." - Romans 8:28
Bless you and know that your being prayed for.

First, remember that God loves you more than any man ever could. He knew you while you were being formed in the womb, and has called you by name. Also, God has a plan for you, and it's a great plan. You know the verse? Plans to prosper you, not to harm you? If you're feeling guilty, like God is mad about you divorcing, remember that Jesus has already died on the cross, the price for your sins are already paid, and God has already forgiven you.

just know that just cause you are getting a divorce doesn't mean you are not a great person and can still find someone else in life who will treat you 10 times better
