In europe people have vacation by law. And you don't have to "earn" it by working for years for the same company. And you don't loose your vacation if you change jobs.

Listen, that's because us Americans are so bent on doing work instead of relaxation. But no matter where you go everyone is bent on either too much work or relaxation. The truth of the matter is that your life should be balanced!

Americans can't even spend enough time with their children and family because of doing too much... work or play.

because we are the richest country in the world and why go on vacation when it is right here! It is so good over here that they are fighting over tightening the borders.

because most people are afraid to take vacation. they feel that if they use their benefits, the company will use it against them and they will not get a raise or promoted or even get fired.
