I was going through a severe depression and going week after week to the alter for deliverance. Nothing was happening. So I prayed and asked God what I was doing wrong. I had a dream that night. In my dream I was at church sitting where I usually did. the preacher was preaching and He told everybody to stand up and he would lay hands on everybody. I didn't stand up because I was busy writing down something. I can't remember what it was., but when I got done I stood up and the pastor layed his hands on me and a brilliant light and a shock went through my body and knoched me all the way to the back pews. A was "slain in the spirit "and speaking in tongues. I woke up from my dream thinking I had gotten delivered and was able to speak in tongues, but I didn't. I examined my dream and I figured I wasn't really relying on God for deliverance. I still thought it was in my head and I could fix it on my own. I wan't trusting God and didn't have the faith that he really could do it. Finally I got fed up with it and went back to the alter. I told God that I have tried to fix this myself and I couldn't do it. I need you God to deliver me. I haven't got the power to do it on my own. The pastor prayed and layed hands on me and a bright orange light, almost like a ball of fire ran through my body and I fell out in the spirit. I couldn't hear nothing else going on around me but I could hear myself praying and praising God in tongues. I could tell a big difference the next day. Things did hit me wrong anymore like they usually did.
Sorry this is so long. I really hope you read it.
god Bless.

I think that at some point, our minds stumble on the psychic "frequency", where we receive "prophetic" future visions....and I believe such gifts do come from God.
Prophecy does NOT say "this is how things are to be". Because our futures are NOT yet set. Prophecy acts as a forewarning; one man would be wise to heed.
Prophecy is God's "fair chance" before we blow it, and have ourselves to blame.
If you have a dream you can vividly recall the moment you wake up, that's the time you should put every detail of it on paper--right then and there. Be sure to mark the date/year and time you jot this stuff down, too.
Myself, I have had to date no clear dreams or visions of prophecy, but I have had strange "forebodings" of something epic and bad was about to happen. The last foreboding I felt came just hours before I became aware of 9/11.

1.dreams that seem like repeats on t.v. It's not dejevu...
I have them about once to five times a month... only I don't realize they come true until 3/4 into the experience.
2. I remember the exact same scene. Not prophetic, just plain dream-come-true.
3. At times I end up sitting back and watching it all unfold before me... sometimes it's a bit frightening... I might not know exactly where they come from.

No because there is no 'god'. Your prophetic dreams come from your own subconscious. Dreams are like a defrag for your soul.
