Deuteronomy 12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
13 Certain men, the children of Be'li-al, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
14 then shalt thou inquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
15 thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be a heap for ever; it shall not be built again.

And don't give me any of that 'god would never tell us this' nonsense. He's done it before.

Human beings wrote the bible but when you question some of the basic tenets, the answer is always you have to have faith. We cant prove its wrong and they cant prove its right. It came up in the pub last night. Is this the ultimate con?

What if I sincerely believe that the story of Jesus is made up, and that God became incarnate as a man named Frank, and that Frank was killed and that Frank is the savior of mankind.

If I pray to God in Frank's name, for some thing I lost to be found, say, I lost a pen, and I say God in Frank's name I pray, that I find my pen, and what if I find my pen. Did God answer my prayer, since I asked for it in Frank's name?

What if we statisically analyze prayers made in Franks name with those made in Jesus's name. Is it possible that they would be statisically about the same?

As far as I know there are no ape prostitutes. But apes groom each other constantly, so wouldn't hairdressers be the oldest profession? Or is this something uniqely human?

Why do anti-Islamists make their bigot remarks about Islam online? Is it safer, or is it Cowardice in plain sight?

If the "Crusade" to stop the "Islamic plague" is such an important mission, why not be active, do it in NYC or a bigger, LIVE stage, not the internet, behind your proxies.

I'm not condoning violence, but GROW SOME BALLS! At least have the guts to do this AROUND Muslims, don't do it online, where only about 3% of users are possibly Muslim.

Why do you overgeneralize without Sources? Why do you make bullcrap assessments and assumptions, and try to spread it to the ignorant?

I just don't get it, you're bold enough to come against a very large religion, big guts, but you do it online, COWARDS!

Be a martyr to your cause, and hand out leaflets outside of mosques, see the reception you get!

How many Muslims do you see attacking the Christian faith? Its as if you KNOW the TRUTH (Islam) and losers like you and Pat Robertson do ANYTHING to stop it, even a show

I was having a problem last year financially, meaning I couldn't stop spending money on things I didn't need. I prayed that God would show me a way to stop wasting my money. Now, I don't spend money on things I don't need and I never have any money. I have no money even though my husband and I both make good money. Is God trying to humble me and get me on the right track by taking what money we have and making us live paycheck to paycheck? Can you give me some bible verses to read?

I hear alot of people say that they have given themselves to Jesus or God. How does one go about just doing that? how do you ask him to come into your life? To take control, to help you? I ask but it feels like I'm doing it wrong, as if he is standing back waiting for me to do it the correct way. Is there a correct way? Please help.

I practically can't find the verb "shiteru" in ANY online Japanese-English dictionary.

I'm guessing that "shiteru" has something to do with "suru" but I can't point my finger on it.

The "ru" in "shiteru" seems to refer to a base form, which is even MORE perplexing, because the base form of "suru" is, well, "suru"!

And finally, do
"Nani o shiteru no" and
"Nani o shite iru no"
have the same meaning?

The "shite" in the second sentence is obviously a form of "suru", and "iru" is a base-form verb. How about "shiteru"?

Thanks a lot for your help!!! ^_^

(Note: If you think that this has anything to do with certain English swear words, then you are wrong, and please don't answer this question.)

I looked at some of the answers I’ve given of late and I am not happy with myself. Ok; so people ask what I consider to be ridiculously stupid questions. And so some of them can’t spell “cat” or use complete sentences. So what? Am I the friggin grammar police?

My apologies to all those I may have insulted or hurt. I am sorry. In the future I will try and just hold my tongue. Please feel free to ask if there are aliens living in Lake Michigan and go ahead and write “se dog ma gf cus se b wt sm dweeb.” It’s a free country. God bless america.

Knowledge or understanding of the death? Eve choice was made only by using Knowledge or she had full understanding what exactly death means before she eat the fruit?
Was her free will 100% pure and intelegent or it was some way limited. Things to coneder: THere was not a single death or example of that in Eden. There was tree of life in the midst of the Eden. ( eating fruit of tree of life would make them ethernal, than eat fruit of Knowledge).
I am looking what does ppl think on this. I am not interesting in answers that says you have to have a faith. Faith is based on Knowledge not on understanding.
