Yeah. Nobody ever uses proper English any more. They only spell half the word or they don't put commas or capitals. Sad, sad, sad, how proper English has just turned to things like idk or c u later.

I hopefully will be an English teacher come September, so all I can promise is to do my best in cutting back this rampant disregard for actually writing correctly. I don't mind a "brb" or "lol" now and again, but the "u" and "ur" and such are just a little out of control.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to complain to my neighbor about their radio being too loud. ;)

yes, it's a sad day when people can not or will not use proper grammar and at least check their spelling. So many post are so bad that many time I can't under stand what the question is or what they are trying to say!

Why, are you planning to start a charity to fund a remedial school for the poor little Internet challenged? ^_^
I suppose that most people consider this place to be an informal place, so text msg. add. is the equivalent of slang in spoken language.

You are right on the mark there Cassie!!!! I don't understand the abbreviations used for words today. I have to ask my 14 year old niece what it means!!!

Maybe we're asking too much of people.....

Yes, I think that this site is a prime example of it. I am astounded daily at how stupid some of these people are....I guess without using the Spell Check they are lost!!
I am glad that I am not the only one who has noticed this! Thanks.

Yes, I do think it's sad that people don't know how to spell nowadays. It's probably laziness or more people have undiagnosed dyslexia.
