I looked at some of the answers I’ve given of late and I am not happy with myself. Ok; so people ask what I consider to be ridiculously stupid questions. And so some of them can’t spell “cat” or use complete sentences. So what? Am I the friggin grammar police?
My apologies to all those I may have insulted or hurt. I am sorry. In the future I will try and just hold my tongue. Please feel free to ask if there are aliens living in Lake Michigan and go ahead and write “se dog ma gf cus se b wt sm dweeb.” It’s a free country. God bless america.

You're a good person for apologizing like this. I understand where you're coming from. It's hard for me to turn down the snark-o-stat on some questions.

Not everyone lives in America, so I'm not sure how that 'it's a free country' comment is useful here. But, sure. Bless America. :)
I wouldn't worry too much about all the people you may or may not have insulted/hurt. After all, I never do. *grins* Besides, it's a natural reaction to prolonged exposure to stupidity and/or people with a lack of a working grasp of the basics of the English language.

I think that some of the questions warrant anyone being a smart-*** as a response. However, other questions wreak of dejection, depression, and seriously needs to be answered with tact and love. I'm glad this forum is available to the public. You're only human, don't beat yourself up too much. Just show more love, that's all!

i think you should keep it up... there is no excuse not to spell a word correctly, there is a spelling check button, and, for those of us whom English is not the first language, there are things called a DICTIONARY.. Even 12-year-old children have spent upwards of 8 years of life at school, and they still can`t spell simple words.. heaven help us when they are in charge of the planet.

they bring out the smart a$$ in me too. i guess for me it is just because i know that the people who ask the stupid questions, mostly do it for the laughs. and i know that people on here know how to spell and they aren't some 2 year old.

aaahhh,finally someone who admits their faults and apologizes too! I too am tempted to be a smartass,but I always end up just shaking my head at some of the loonies,plus-it's not worth my keystroke!
