Man has an immortal soul or spirit; and those who find favor with God shall join him in eternal bliss in heaven. Conversely, the souls of the wicked ones will be eternally tortured in hell.

Here are proofs that these teachings are really from Satan:

Not too long ago, a 6 year old girl committed suicide by rushing to an on coming train so she could be in heaven with her terminally ill mother

Muslim fanatics commit terrorism by becoming human bombs in the belief that 72 virgins are waiting for them in heaven, if they die as martyrs of Allah.

All accounts of resurrection in the Bible, except for that of Jesus, occurred here on earth and not in heaven.

The Bible says that God is love and merciful. It also says that Adam returned to dust ( not somewhere else). It says that the dead knows nothing at all. ( Ecclesiastes 9:5; Isaiah 38:18 ) The teaching therefore of an eternal torment is Satan’s way of picturing God as unloving and cruel.

i hate dogs. well i like some, but i hate mean dogs. and even keeping good dogs, i wouldn't do it. They are too noisy. I like quiet in my house so i can concentrate when i do stuff. i also don't like birds yapping all day. I'm a person of quiet personality, never met other quiet people..so i don't know,, but do you guys also detest noisy pets? I have experience with outgoing people..cause i've worked for them, so i've seen lots and they have dogs, they love them, they don't seem bothered.

Sometimes while watching some sad or very happy moments in a movie, I try to hide my tears from my wife as if I got something in my eye and I am wiping it off... or I cough or sneeze and quickly wipe it off. Or sometimes I go to bathroom and let it out slowly.

Am I a sissy? I am surely not gay. I had a happy childhood and have usual adult life worries. How to correct this problem?

Head out to sea and jump out of a speeding boat. Now after a few hours of treading water, you will become tired. When it becomes clear that you will drown soon, start talking about your "right" to live.
You do keep harping about the "rights" of the unborn right? Where have your "rights" gone when your splashing on the ocean about to drown?
The fact is, there is NO "right" to life. None. We all have the same chances. Sometimes you roll the dice and get boxcars, sometimes you get snake-eyes.
But to get upset about it and spew nonsense about someone's "right" to life just serves to illustrate how very, very stupid you all are...

My neighbor, who was my waitress one night a month before I moved into my house, came out to talk to me tonight after a year of being here. We got to talking and she stated that we didn't tip her at the place she used to work. I told her I was sorry, and had had bad experiences there, and couldn't be more sorry. Honestly, I did forget, because we paid by check at the register, and didn't have any cash on us that night, I always tip if the waitress is good, and don't when she has not done her job. She said she was pretty mad because she busted her butt. I feel like a shlub. I don't want to be remembered for the person thats stiffed her on a tip. How do I make it up to her. Send her the tip in a card, send her flowers with an appology...I need some good ideas. The best idea gets 10 points!!!!

There seems to be much debate on here where faith in a Diety originates from. Where would you say your faith originates from?

watched dateline's show on internet predators . A bunch of men showed up to a house believeing it was a teen they met online, and they planned to have sex.Well they failed cause it was a trick. but anyways, i see the aweful number of men that showed up and they all seem like normal everyday people. do you ever think your neighborhood might be filled with this kind of people, and how could you tell? inever feel like it...cause perhaps they hide it well but it's scary
