Man has an immortal soul or spirit; and those who find favor with God shall join him in eternal bliss in heaven. Conversely, the souls of the wicked ones will be eternally tortured in hell.

Here are proofs that these teachings are really from Satan:

Not too long ago, a 6 year old girl committed suicide by rushing to an on coming train so she could be in heaven with her terminally ill mother

Muslim fanatics commit terrorism by becoming human bombs in the belief that 72 virgins are waiting for them in heaven, if they die as martyrs of Allah.

All accounts of resurrection in the Bible, except for that of Jesus, occurred here on earth and not in heaven.

The Bible says that God is love and merciful. It also says that Adam returned to dust ( not somewhere else). It says that the dead knows nothing at all. ( Ecclesiastes 9:5; Isaiah 38:18 ) The teaching therefore of an eternal torment is Satan’s way of picturing God as unloving and cruel.

Not all your "proofs" are really proof. However the bible does say the soul that sins, it shall die. Also when God created Adam it says God breathed into him and Adam became a living soul (so body+ breath= a soul), not an eternal soul put into him.
So I guess I agree with your conclusions just not your path to reach them.

Well Satan is the master of lies. Jesus taught men how to fish, which is deceiving fish to capture them and eat them.

Also, why would Satan try and rule the world when he knows through the bible that he will lose.

Also, did Satan not give us free will, Did he not give us the knowledge between good an evil? The one thing that almost no man woman or child would ever give up.

Explain to me why it made god so angry that we became more like him?

Also, he points out that the only reason he was mad was because we couldn't live forever. Our lord is a crazy lord he is.

Why 72 virgins? I have enough problems satisfying 1 woman I couldn't imagine the pressure of satisfying that many more. Plus 72 days later you are left with no virgins.

I don't get the fascination with doing virgins. Nothing worse than having sex with someone who doesn't know where things go.

Why did God create Satan? Seems kind of stupid.

The bible also has the story of Lazarus & the rich man (http://bible-truths.com/lazarus.html), which pretty clearly states that the soul lives after death, and "good people" are rewarded and "bad people" are punished. It's a parable, perhaps not meant to be taken literally--but if there is no reward after death, what's the point of the parable?

If God is love and merciful, and people turn to nonsentient dust after death, where is the love and mercy shown to children who die of malnutrition, or are raped to death in wars?

If there is no reward/punishment in the afterlife, God's "mercy" is seriously in question.
