Everyone knows that American is one of the nations in the world that the majority understand only one language. English. So why is it that American are so obsessed with some one spellings? Here on Yahoo answer I see more and more people Criticizing some spelling. Are they proud that they speak at least one language?

Some of you will probably think me a dork, but I was reading Matthew 7 today, and I found Jesus' story about the speck in one person's eye and the plank in your own eye quite interesting. I mean, have you ever pictured this? Anyone within several meters of the person with the plank would have to duck every time that person moved his/her head! And if not, they would be clobbered! I realize that it is symbolic, but just think about it for a moment! Pretty interesting image, huh?

1 Samuel 15:-
After Saul had failed to carry out God's command utterly destroy the Amalekites, God said to Samuel, " I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king". ( 1 Sam 15:1 )

However, in 1 Sam 15:29,Samuel states that God is not a man that He should repent. How can God say that He regretted setting up Saul as king when other passages assert that God does not repent or change His mind?

Fact: For most of its history, the Mormon church said blacks were "cursed" and black Mormons (the few who actually chose to be Mormon) were forbidden from receiving their endowments and enter into Mormon Temples.

That all changed in the late 70's. Why ?

Did the US government threaten to take away the Deseret Corporation's tax exempt status(Deseret, Inc = for profit LDS subsidiary) ? Did BYU need some "skill position" players ?

And why do Mormons pretend their church was never racist ? Many Protestant Churches have acknowledged and apologized for their Racist pasts, but the Mormons ignore the large number of quotes by Brigham Young and others.

My complex has nine apts. with no available parking. Street parking is normally full by 5pm. A about 4 years ago I moved the rear fence and created three parking spaces (with owner approval). I was the only one parking my two vehicles there. About a month ago a new move-in asked me if she could park in the empty space and I said yes. Now everyone rushes back there to park in total disreguard to my space. I know legally I have no grounds but morally I feel everyone should respect my space as they always have. Whats your thoughts?
