I don't know for sure what the chapter and verses are, but my favorite part of the entire Bible is the story of the two Marys finding the tomb empty, then meeting Jesus on the road. Second favorite is the story of the Pentecost; my priest explained how it might have really been possible, and I just love the image of everyone being able to understand the Word of God.

I don't have a favorite, but my mother has memorized Bible verses alphabetically and uses them to calm herself enough to fall asleep. Pretty cool, huh?
