What, support my local Starbucks, Radio Shack, Tower Records?

There isn't any more local economy to support.

Why won't people shut up about it?

Why does it anger you so much that people who believe in God and express it through their various faiths do this? If God doesn't exist, what's the big deal if people discuss Him and his works in public?

Job 19:17-
In Job 1:2, 18-19 ( cf. 8:4 ) all of Job's children were killed in a great windstorm. Yet here he speaks of his breath being "repulsive to the children of my own body".

Tell me your thoughts.

Apparently when translated from Hebrew, they mistook the word for meaning Virgin, when it fact it meant young woman. How could this then be a miraculous conception? Obviously Joseph got on the good foot and did some bad things.

I'm a big Myspace addict. I have alot of close friends there. But when I get bored I wander to see what's new with Myspace. So I decided to watch some Myspace videos. My last option since I checked everything. Next thing I know I'm in a category named DEATH. First I see a man commit suicide on TV. Amazed and sickened at what I am viewing I click the category to see what else is in this video section. Next a beheading of an American by Arabs. I'm so mad. Sick. Upset and in complete fury. Why do people post these things? It's not entertaining. I flagged these people. Why do people find pleasure in someone's death. Needless to say the boy who posted it was 15. When did it become cool to advertise such filth ?!?!

I'm knitting for orphans and homeless kids here in Aust. and in countries where winter temp is below zero. I can't afford to buy a lot of wool, but have also been using 8 ply acrylic yarn doubled, as I can afford lots more of that. Now I have been told it won't be very warm. Is this true???? Any ideas please............

This following statement is from the "Reasoning from the Scriptures" book published by Jehovah's witnesses. It is only a part of an explanation in response to people who believe that they are false prophets.

Jehovah’s Witnesses do not claim to be inspired prophets. They have made mistakes. Like the apostles of Jesus Christ, they have at times had some wrong expectations.—Luke 19:11; Acts 1:6.

The Scriptures provide time elements related to Christ’s presence, and Jehovah’s Witnesses have studied these with keen interest. (Luke 21:24; Dan. 4:10-17) Jesus also described a many-featured sign that would tie in with the fulfillment of time prophecies to identify the generation that would live to see the end of Satan’s wicked system of things. (Luke 21:7-36) Jehovah’s Witnesses have pointed to evidence in fulfillment of this sign.

Our universe is finite. What would be the use of an infinite God? Why bother filling up all that nothingness?

How can having loving faith in Giggles the Fairy be either?Giggles has only a few rules and I do believe in him and not your "fairytale".No offence but I have read your Bible and frankly you have not read mine so why do you think I am being mean or that I am bad?Or wrong?

Which reminds me!!

** Muslims have their holy day on Friday, Jews on Saturday and Christians on Sunday. Since we are all "Theists" and "people of the book" it would be nice to find a way to harmonize all three beliefs.
Aside from the obvious results of an end to religious strife, one of the most immediate benefits would be a three-day weekend!
