I learned this in my sociology class. The easiest and best ways to lie are as follows:
1-lie about a public figure
2-lie about the dead(they are not here to defend themselves)
3-lie about yourself

Write it down on a piece of paper ... don't use the mail though if it is a sensitive subject. Or possibly don't feel you have to tell them a darn thing if it's not necessary.
