Actually no; stereotypes are solely based upon the opinion of individuals. In order to establish fact; for example to say that all blond women are stupid could never be true. Anyone who would say so with integrity would have to have to met anyone and everyone who was a woman and blond.

nobody fits perfectly into a stereotype, because there is pretty much an unlimited potential to every mind. a stereotype doesn't allow for that; it only declairs a black and white scenario.
but there are many stereotypes that hold true.

There is truth to every strereotype. The only problem is that people think that EVERYONE fits the stereotype but there is no such thing as ALL and EVERY. There is always someone that won't fit the stereotype.

women do dishes
men take out the trash
women take care of the kids
light colored hair is prettier than dark hair
blue eyes are prettier than brown
green eyes are mysterious
all men are liars
all women are wh*res
groups of boys all together are a gang
girls don't fart or burp
... THE LIST COULD GO ON FOREVER
is there truth to any of these... maybe sometimes... but other times NO. point being, you can't catagorize people like this and believe it to be the truth
