watched dateline's show on internet predators . A bunch of men showed up to a house believeing it was a teen they met online, and they planned to have sex.Well they failed cause it was a trick. but anyways, i see the aweful number of men that showed up and they all seem like normal everyday people. do you ever think your neighborhood might be filled with this kind of people, and how could you tell? inever feel like it...cause perhaps they hide it well but it's scary

Those aren't the ones you need to worry about the most, they are the minority of the ones that abuse kids. The ones you need to worry about are the ones in your OWN home. 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 5 boys will be sexually abused by someone in their home or another relative by the time they are 18. Just because it is called by a different name doesn't mean it isn't a crime or is any different. People who commit incest are just child abuser who stay home is all.

The problem with the stuff shown on dateline is that they were entrapping them talking to them an then telling them the age of the girl towards the end. They were still sick and in the wrong due to them showing up and continuing the conversation past the point where they found out the age. Not everyone who is suppose to register is going to register in the database anyways so you may only see 2 in your neighborhood yet there are 20 more that havent registered yet. You couldnt tell you may have your suspicions though, you know how a guy looks at a girl he wants I am sure they would get the same little gleam in their eye with a kid. Remember not everyone on the database is a child molestor some of them were 18 having relations with their 17 year old gf or bf and their parents pressed the charges. In most cases though they are just sick fcks

Less than everyone thinks, shows like Dateline are sensationalist propaganda designed to scare people. Dateline is one of the worst, once they tried to prove that GM trucks exploded when in an accident. What they didn't say was their demonstration was staged and the truck had explosives attached to it.

you can look it up on the net, I found out there are five in Los Alamos, NM. One of them works at a local food store, and the thing that gets me is Los Alamos is a very family-oriented place
man I wish someone would go and kick em out of town

There's a ton of sickos all over the place. Check your local online database and you probably won't let the kids go outside any more. I was shocked when I looked at my local one.
