First you have to change your way of thinking, because it is NOT a problem!
You're just in touch with your emotions more so, than other men are. I'm not a cryer, but I will cry at a really moving movie as well.
Stop hiding your tears from your wife as well. It's good for a women to see a man in touch with his emotional side from time to time!

No, this is a good thing cause you are in touch with your feelings. Crying at the happy moments just mean you can relate with what the story is trying to get thr to the audience. many men do not know how to express their feelings and most of the time think anger is the only way to get pain out which is unhealthy . your not a sissy in fact you are more mature than the guys that are holding it inside. your wife will most likely love you more for this and also feel she can open up to you more now.
My hubby is sensitive too and i think he is the most wonderful man alive!

There is absolutely nothing in the world to correct!! Why do men think that crying is a sign of weakness? Shedding some tears over a sappy movie doesn't make you a sissy.
It makes you sensitive and that makes you better husband.
Don't hide it. Let her know.. Be honest. Be yourself.

I cry at sad parts and romantic parts in movies too.
When somebody breaks up, I cry. When they get back together, I cry some more. THen when they die in the end I bawl.
I cry when I read books too.
I think this is what makes me human, the ability to feel emotion, to empathize with a characters pain (or a friends pain, for that matter).
Why fight it? You laugh too, right? I laugh hard through the funny parts too. Some people are just built that way. I think some of us feel things a little deeper than others. It is called being sensitive, and it is a beautiful thing to be.
Here's a kleenex. :*)

I don't think that makes you a sissy it just means you can express your emotions easier than most men. Crying whether it is tears of joy or tears of sadness is a normal reaction to certain stimuli. I wouldn't worry about trying to correct it unless it interferes with your life. If you cry alot when you are not at the movies you might be depressed.

Hey man: I am married 35, straight and I boohoo at the movies. Nothing wrong with that. A real man is not afraid to show his real human emotions. Regards.

I think you are wonderful. If every man could be like you, this world would be a better place! Men need to cry. They need to let it out. It's normal, more than normal, and I am so proud of you.
I only ask though, don't hide it from your wife. She'll think it's adorable. I think it's adorable. Good for you.
