I grew up in a family where smoking weed was not a big deal. None of my siblings, mother or father ever abused it or became in any way dependant. I don't smoke now since I am watching my health closer and in the middle of switching jobs. However I have nothing bad to say about the herb itself, only some of the people that use it. While it is illegal, it can't possibly be compared to cigerettes, which are the reason my grandmother won' t be with us too much longer. I would tell my children that weed is not good for you and is something that if they choose to do they should do so once they have grown up and are capable to make an adult desion regarding something that can possibley effect you negetively if you are not strong in mind. Well, thats my opinion...whats yours?

if we give people a meens to help themselves it will only create a more cunning people that want more. We are not a happy culture with our money. We have more suicide, mental illness, violence in our "advanced" culture...what is so wrong with letting the world controll the population? Trust in it. It will create a disease to wipe out who needs to be wiped out. The people that have the power are not immune to disease. The world will take are of itself.

Adam and Eve were in trouble for wearing clothes...now NOT wearing clothes gets you in trouble.

People who never sinned are punished for those who did (original sin, Jesus's sacrifice)

Jesus is the freakin son of God, who cares how many times he got whipped, he is the luckiest dude ever.

God punishes or rewards people FOREVER for what they did in a few years of life.

Can you add anything?

or does He just get credit for the good stuff, and the bad is man's fault? This is the impression I got from my last question.

I know a lot of women who have chosen to live with a man but not get married. They secretly pine away, waiting for that special moment that usually never comes. They'll live with him like they were married and even buy houses and stuff like that but refuse to make the commitment. Why do women settle?

You know how some people put a line across the number seven "7" ? Is this telling of a personality trait? If so, what does this indicate?

Atheists go out of their way to attack Christianity, but they always say that people should respect all religions, "be nice", etc. I don't get it. Do they really mean that everything is ok except Christianity?

If you're going to say something like, "Christians try to shove their religion down my throat." Don't bother. It's simply not true. Yes, there are missionaries and such, but they're not doing any shoving, just introducing. Christians don't want to force anybody to do anything.

True Christianity (meaning belief in the Bible - nothing more, nothing less) is the most compassionate religion. No where in the Bible does it say to force anyone to do anything, kill anybody, or any such thing.

If I get any answers that tell me to shut up or something, you're just proving my point.

Ok, I came out a little while ago and its all been going well. but, me and my ex girlfriend didn't go out much as she was somewhat older and preferred to stay in. I do not have any gay friends in the town where i live and it is difficult to meet people. i have recently met someone off of the net and she is taking me out tomorrow to introduce me to the 'gay scene'. i have been reading loads of posts on the net and im really nervous about what to wear and how to act, as they all say it can be quite clicky and i dont want to make a fool of myself.
