I'd say be yourself. And don't try to be to "trendy." That can backfire. IFyou have to wear something special, wear a sexy bra. Whether you are A-cup or double-D, the quality of the bra, if another girl gets just a glimpse of it, looking down your shirt or whatever, says a lot about how you feel about yourself.

My answer (as an almost permanent outsider of the cliques) is that IF they are all cliquey like, then yeah. Screw 'em. Wear what you normally wear; casual. Maybe a little flare, little show-offy (then again, you're with a gf so you're not really looking). I'd LIKE to think that there's more diversity within the lesbian community, so that there'll be some scene somewhere where you fit in, but I don't know that. I do know that if I were taking someone out for the first time, I'd probably introduce them to some of my friends (who wouldn't be all kinds of bitchy) and let it go from there. Go out and have fun!

Definately be yourself because you will give a false impression if you dont. When I first came out I thought I needed to be something I was not and wore combats and a vest top thing but the older I got the more I relised I should be myself and I am a girly lesbian but feel comfortable in combats trainers and the top of me has long hair, long earrings, a strappy top and necklace, this is a good compromise if that is what your worried about. Good luck darling have a good time and dont let the big ones scare you they have hearts of gold... most of them anyway he he

I would like to remind you about the dangers of meeting someone from the internet. You are taking a big risk to meet someone this way, when there are other safer ways. You should first search for the addresses of respectable meeting places near you. Not meet someone online and ask them to show you. There are all sorts of people, and some, sorry to say, have other plans. You cannot outgrow basic safety rules. Please be careful. I am worried for your safety.

You're really lucky already, to have a friend help you out in the "new world" so just breathe and be yourself. Don't worry about what other people think of you. As long as you know who you are and you try to be a good person you will be fine. Just jump.

I guess that I would just dress nicely, whatever you think looks good on you, and try not to be too nervous, life is all about the different experiences you have. You'll have the person who's taking you, so you know at the very least that you won't be on your own. Just try to have fun and enjoy it.

Oh, don;t stress about it. You will find people you do and do not like and who do or do not liek you from all walks of life. Be yourself and you will befreind people who you are more likely to want to be friends with. Do you really want to be freinds with the clicky kind anyhow?

my advice is similar to everyone elses..only..if you feel the need to dance on tables and windowsills, wait till you've been out a few times first. by that time you may have made friends with the gay mafia, as i did in my home city, and then u will get away with doing anything, and anyone, you fancy.
u is wot u is, chuk.
enjoy!
