Well poverty here in America is no where near as bad as some of the third world countries out there..... You know the average person Under the poverty line here in America has indoor plumbing, Color TV and allot have cable, phone some even have a car...... I think Americans need to be more thankful for the things that we have...... Im happy to help someone who has less then me. Alot of these places shouldn't even be poor Africa for example had more then 90% of the worlds gold and they cant even get clean drinking water or houses for the people

We should worry about poverty everywhere. We shouldn't think of them as poor Americans, poor Africans, poor Indians etc. we should just think of them as poor human beings. We should care about our fellow man all over the world.

Have you been in the states? We have people starving down south and we always care about the rest of the world. When there is calamity who are there first?us Americans , I know sad to say everybody hates us but we are still compassionate and generous people...
