If you are positive you can act the hero and actually do some good without harm to yourself or others then I say, go for it. But if in any way you are not sure and there is the possibility of harm to yourself, then best to turn over the money. Your life is not worth it. But you can also be a hero by memorizing their face and specific facial marks..clothing, tattoos..etc..this could make the difference in catching the thief.

Give up the loot. My life is worth way more than what is in the register. Besides, there are security cameras that can be used to help catch the criminal.

Give the loot, I care a bit more about my life than about a thing.

Give up the loot. It's not my money and the manager's probably a jerk anyway. I'd give up the dough and want a whole days pay.

Money is insured and replacable, a person and their life is not, so I would give them the money. I wouldn't risk my life for a few pounds.
