awww! how sweet is that! tell her that we bless god when we believe in him and his works and those who believe that his son died for us and those who are thankful to him for that! when we help others and spread the word we are blessing him! we bless him when we love eachother and when we do what is right and good!!

We are the ones in need of God's Blessings, He looks forward to our worship but He is not in need of it.
redglory , I think it is obvious from my statement that blessings and needs are not the same. Can you deny that humans are in need of God's blessing, or do you think that God gains anything from our worship, if we worship God it is only for our own good, if we refuse to worship Him, that does not decrease His Person or His Might, not even by a dot!

The answer is God said His name is "I am". He is everything.
The answer to your 4 year old is: Who gives Santa Claus presents? His present is being able to give the presents and being Santa. (Ok, metaphors may not work with a 4 year old, but you get the idea!)

i have a neighbor that says "bless you" when theres thunder because his mom told him
"thats the sound of god sneezing".
lol. so, my 4 year old neighbor blesses god.

The Christian who worships in Spirit and in truth.
(this kind of worship is pleasing to God, and therefor - it blesses him to know that his creation reveres him above anything/anyone else.)
