God only gets credit for the good stuff.
Mankinds freewill gets blamed for all the bad.
...didn't God give man freewill in the first place?...Shouldn't He step up and take some of the blame?

Well, yes. Death is man's creation. We were originally designed to be eternal, but original sin prevented us. War is man's creation. So is murder. If you mean Satan and evil, well Satan made a choice long before the world was created when God revealed that Mary, a mortal human, would become Queen of Heaven, Satan refused to follow an imperfect being, so he and a bunch of other angel tried to overthrow Heaven, got their butts whipped by St. Michael the Archangel, and have spent all eternity in Hell trying to prevnet us from getting into heaven.

I think that any religion that doesn't deal with the concept of duality is flawed from the get go. By this I mean that yes, according to the Bible, God is responsible for all, both good and evil. Duality is a balancing concept that essentially states there can be no good without bad. (Taoism is a good example of Duality)

I personally think that God is not responsible for all bad things. Human beings are responsible many times. We must remember that humans have a free will. They choose either to do good or evil.

Nothing exists that God didn't create. But . . .
Darkness doesn't really exist. It's merely a name we've given to the absence of light.
There's only one way to tell the truth, everything else is error.
God is righteous. Everything else is un-righteous.
God created bad only in the sense that he created beings with the free will to choose a path other than that prescribed by God.
But God didn't "create" bad or evil. Evil resulted from disobedience to the way of God.

Here's how i have it sized up:
God is responsible for whatever good that happens to us.
God is responsible for subjecting us to discipline (which at the time seems bad) ... "We" are responsible for God 'having to discipline' us in the first place.
It's called "consequences"...We get what we deserve. God knows best.
If you've ever read the Bible right through, you'd know that God has subjected people to evil spirits, and he has subjected them to pain --- but He had a reason for it.
so no He's not responsible for it...just the executor of it.

Go to the Bible for your answers it has it all. There's nothing left of that you may want to know. And as a matter of fact, God makes us responsible for our own actions, you chose to sin so you're going to pay the penalty. But God made a way so you wouldn't have to b/c of course he loves us so much. He gave Jesus for the sacrifice of our sin, he paid the penalty. Died and went to Hell and got the keys from Satan, defeated him...and rose from the grave and ascended unto Heaven, with the Father...

God is in control of all things. Read the Book of Job. It's a story meant to be told to godly sufferers who like Job were struggling with the crisis of faith brought on by prolonged bitter suffering.

A friend of mine explained to me that we should not get angry with god when bad things happen because God does not do the bad things to us...they are caused by the Devil trying to undermine God.

I am not a christian but I believe that we as humans have free will... so ultimately any decision good or bad, harmful or not is caused by myself and is reflected upon myself. The responsibility either way is my own.
