Do you think there would be peace?

The way I see it, if every single person on the planet became a christian, soon there would be people who weren't quite christian enough. Soon there would be people who didn't quite believe enough. I think it wouldn't be long before people were being burned at the stake again. It's actually scary if you think about it.

Why is it that the Catholic church always seems to need more money? I personally attended Catholic mass every week for 14 years. Unfortunately, we moved and all the Catholic churches down hear do is ask for more money. I was perfectly fine with donating a small sum of money every week to the collection plate. However, when the priest started asking for more money for programs such as the "Bishop's Annual Appeal," it became unbearable. I guess my question is: Where does all this money go and why does the Church, a supposedly non-profit, tax-free organization, need so much of it?

I don't speak Chinese & I don't feel comfortable being stared at in elevators. Am I supposed to be culturally sensitive and let some stranger stare at me the whole time? I think I'll bring a newspaper with me and hold it up in front of my face. It'll also save me from having to see them spit in our apartment building elevator. Unfortunately, it won't shield me from the sound of them horking up snot, burping, or snorting like pigs.

I've been coming to this site now for a few weeks, and just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here (no matter what religion you are or aren't) who is not bashing everyone for their beliefs. And to the ones who are just being down right rude, GOD BLESS YOU! I pray for you daily, I hope that all of the hate in your hearts turns into love for others.

Check out your dollar bill.
"Novus ordum seclorum" = "new world order"
Is it really an order to establish democracy, imperialism, or just... a one-world government?

Every good thing that happens comes from God.
Every bad thing that happens comes from the Devil, or from free-will.
God knows everything, is the biggest power in this Universe, but he can't win from the Devil.

Am i right so far ?

I think when someone says "nuff said" they are basically saying "**** you". My brother's friend and I had a debate and he said "nuff said" and smirked as he walked off. I wanted to rip his head off, but decided to walk away from it because he's an idiot and not worth the energy. LOL. But as my brother and I discussed the situation later, I told him about the "nuff said" comment and he agreed with me. What do you think? Does it tick you off when someone says that to you? LOL

The reason I ask is because somebody on this board, who will remain nameless, said that they dont mind talking to Christians, but not Christian Fundamentalist. What's the difference in your opinion.

I personally don't accept other religions as "truth" but I tolerate what others beleive. I don't bash, but I also hold strong beleifs, such as being against gay marriage, abortion, sex before marriage, ect. Does that make me a fundamentalist in your eyes. Thanks for the information. I'm not looking for rude answers. This is a serious question.

I was wondering about what accountability we as Christians have, when answering questions that are posed by the Non Christian world? We as Christians know that a person is accountable for every bit of knowledge of the Truth, that has been put before them. So, when we send out answers that someone reads are you doing it with prayer? or with the Holy Spirit giving you scripture? or are you cutting and pasting scripture?

I am not trying to say we shouldn't express our beliefs in Jesus, I am just saying we are accountable for what we speak?

Any thoughts?
