I actually once gave a homeless shelter 3 million dollars to help the people there. Also whenever I see a homeless man on the street with no kids I give him 50-100 dollars. If I see a homeless woman on the street with no kids I giver her 100-150 dollars. If I see anyone with kids I give them a thousand dollars for each kid they have. I do this because my mom grew up poor so I always want to help people like that. Even though some of them spend it on beer and drugs, it still feels nice to know maybe someone won't go to bed hungry tonight. I also helped a few people get jobs.
To the girl below me that says I'm lying, my dad's an ex football player and my mom's a doctor for the poor so I have the money and I see what it's like to be poor, so that's why I like to help.

I gave a homeless man 20.00 and a turkey sandwich (No, I had not taken a bite, it was fresh out of the package).
Though, I do have a funny story of when I did NOT give a homeless person any money. He was actually asking for money for a sack of marijuana. Imagine that! Why should I support your habit when I have bills to pay?

Me and my Mom went to N.Y. City with care packages. We would look for homeless people and give them a big bag of goodies. It was winter so we brought blankets to give out. In each of the bags there was 10.00 and things that they may need but not get to often. Most of the people really were very thankful, some were very scary. One guy thru the bag at us and ran after us. All and all it was a good experience. by the way... the girl above me needs to stop lying and get a clue. we are not impressed. If you are going to lie, atleast make it a little believable.

I gave them a place to stay, food, shelter, warmth, friendship, understanding if any no money cash.
I recieved a phone call one night from a man who I new as a young man 13 years earlier who looked me up found where I was living and Thanked me for what I had done and tried to do for him,he was sorry for stealing my new leather coat.
I haven't ever given much money,it's usually bad for them and you,but helping another human being is easy.
In this world today it should be done more often.

I never give money to a homeless person. I have given them food, everything from Krispy Kreme donuts to Pizza Hut pizza.

$25. I was working at a store near the tracks and she needed it to get to her mom's funeral in Texas. She had been attacked at the bus station and lost all her money. I was young-early twenties. I had a total of $25 in savings and called my mom to bring it to me so I could give it to the lady. I saw her three days later shopping and I went up to ask her how she was and she screamed at me that she didn't know me and to get away from her. I don't give people money anymore. If I can help another way, I do.
