Do you think there would be peace?

The way I see it, if every single person on the planet became a christian, soon there would be people who weren't quite christian enough. Soon there would be people who didn't quite believe enough. I think it wouldn't be long before people were being burned at the stake again. It's actually scary if you think about it.

There's a statistic out there that if every Christian in the world witnessed to at least one person a day it would take one year for the whole world to know Jesus. One year! Imagine the peace, but Jesus said he did not come to bring peace to the world but to divide families. That's confusing to some, because Jesus is peace, but a prime example is this board. Those whole believe, believe! Those who don't, don't. There is no peace among us.

I pray that everyone will know Jesus, personally!

Of course not. Look at the Civil War. Most, if not all, of the soldiers were Christian. There was still a war. Same with the Revolutionary War. Being Christian has nothing to do with being peaceful, or at least, it doesn't in reality.

What kind of Christian? There are over 1000 different Christian denomination. Each believes that it and it alone is the true church starting from the Roman Catholic to the backstreet Pentecostals. In the past they had fought wars amongst themselves. It is scary, yes.

Yes, that would happen. There would be peace at first, but then the fighting would start again. The only mindset that I can see capable of bringing "peace" to humanity is to "worship" tolerance.

If tolerance of others differences was the ultimate goal for people, then there could be peace. But I doubt that ultimate tolerance is actually possible. At least not at this stage of evolution...

Even if everyone became Christians we still will not have world peace. Just like you said, we will still be polarized. We will still have sub groups within the main grouping. With everyone claiming their way is the only way of worship. And each group trying to convert the other to their own denominations.

Even within Christianity, there is a lot of division. Just think of all the denominations. Admittedly, humans will find something to divide against each other. We can only work towards peace and justice...if we will ever fully attain it only God knows.

If you are Christian, you are "supposed" to be "Christ-like". This means we'd love our neighbors as our selves, we'd be pure in heart and mind.

If the whole world were to attain this level of Christ-likeness, we'd have peace at last, we would live together in perfect harmony.

I think this is something that everybody should strive for.

Only time that will happen is during Christ's 1000 year rule after the Tribulation. Then there will be peace.

I think that would sad. A lot of beautiful religions would be lost.

Now, if everyone was Buddhist or Hindu? Then we might get some peace.

Christian... no.... look at the wars between Protestant England and Catholic France.

WELL FIRST OFF, GOD DID SHOW HIMSELF TO THE WORLD, AND PERFORMED MIRACLE AFTER MIRACLE. SOME PEOPLE WHO SAW THE MIRACLES STILL CHOSE NOT TO BELIEVE. BUT IF THE WHOLE WORLD WERE CHRISTIANS, THE WORLD WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER PLACE. BUT!! THE EARTH IS NOT HEAVEN. WE STILL HAVE OUR OWN SELFISH WAYS, OUR PRIDE, AND SO FORTH. ALSO, SATAN AND HIS DEMONS WOULD STILL ATTACK US. ONE THING TO REMEBER IS THAT THE RELIGIOUS PEOPLE KILLED JESUS. I AM NOT RELIGIOUS, BUT I HAVE A PERSOANL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS THE CHRIST. I TALK TO HIM ALL DAY EVERY DAY. I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT GOD IS ALIVE. EVEN IF YOU SIN ONE TIME, YOU CANNOT ENTER HEAVEN. THAT'S WHY JESUS (GOD'S ONLY SON WHO WAS 100% MAN 100% GOD) DIED ON THE CROSS, SO WE CAN BE FORGIVEN OF OUR SINS, AND ENTER HEAVEN, AND BOW BEFORE GOD THE ETERNAL FATHER.
