Because they don`t know God. untill God draws you by his spirit and gives you the faith by his grace to believe in him you are lost and subject to all the lies of this world.. as I once was. I was lost but know I am found resting in the Grace of my Lord Jesus.

Mythogology is stories made over the years by a certain group of people to explain how things are created (the wind, sunshine, rain, etc) and to teach morals (don't lie, don't steal).
Whether you believe in Christianity or not, you have to understand that the Bible is a collection of stories (wheteher true or fictional) that explain how things were created (women from the rib of man, languages, etc) and teach morals.
In both mythology and the Bible, some of the stories seem somewhat far-fetched. The creation of man in Greek mythology, Prometheus shaped man out of mud, and Athena breathed life into his clay figure, while in the Bible, woman was created from the rib of a man. Both seem somewhat far-fetched from the reality that we see today.
That is why some people claim it is nothing more than mythology.

When most people say mythology they mean 100% false, made up stories. In reality, mythology is a collection of stories, normally revolving around God(s) that give us an idea of a society's culture and values; stories that explain the world. So when most people say Christianity is a myth, they are saying its a collection of nice stories and that's it. Technically, you can answer by saying, you are right Christianity has a "mythology" a group of stories explaining the way we believe, a group of stories that may or maynot be true, but that I believe is true. (that's if you do)

Christianity is mythology, that's why people believe it is. There have been thousands of religions throughout human history. Even today Christianity does not form the majority religion on this planet. Yet Christians like to preach that their specific sect within their specific religion is the one and only true religion and all others are false. Seems a little silly if you think about it.

Because the answer is in the history. No need for guesses. History is full of exmaples and all kinds of religions. Christianity is only 2000 years while world is much longer ( even by Christian means its only 6000 years). Before Christianity was something else, before that something else and so on. There is nothing new, its an old thing represented the new way. Give it time and Christianity will be replaced by something else.
Natural cycling.
Therefore everything is a state of mind.

Any story involve mythical, supernatural and divine being are mythology. That's the meaning of mythology, a collection of myth.
Saying Christianity is mythology is not an insult nor a lie.
The story involved gods, Dragon, worship, immortality, half men half animal being, half human half god, supernatural powers, etc...
People called Christianity mythology because that what it is.

The thing is that when the followers of a certain religion are still around it's called a religion, after they are gone it is called mythology. By the very definition christainity has mythology, Islam, Juadism, Hinduism all have mythology also.

Well, every religion has their own mythology, particularly with creation. I mean, believing that people came from dust is as silly as believing that animals came from the chopped-off fingers of a god, which is the case in Hinduism (I *think*... Don't quote me on that, it may be another religion.)
My problem is, why are people try to use logic and science to prove the possibility that the Christian myths are true? What about the myths from other religions?

Christianity- The Christian religion, founded on the life and teachings of Jesus.
Mythology- A body or collection of myths belonging to a people and addressing their origin, history, deities, ancestors, and heroes.
Hmmm....sounds awfully similar.

Christianity? Jesus? Dying? Mythology?
What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?
(NOT A VIRGIN BIRTH! - betcha never knew that.)
Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .
If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Gods do not die? Do they?
If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?
Did Jesus give up Saturday for us? Big deal!
If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.
If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!
If you swallow this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to swallow it too.
Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.
Believing and not thinking is like choosing a mental illness and becoming lost.
