I'm just interested in other peoples views on whether you think that women whom western society meet the criteria of beautiful (as is often portrayed in adverts/TV/ magazines) are more likely to breeze through life and be more succesful than someone who is seen as Ugly or not meeting societys ideals on beauty (e.g someone with a big nose or who is obese or has an unusual feature)? For example if you had two equally competent women at your interview and one was 'ugly' according to the interviewer and the other attractive who do you think would get the job? Anyone been in that situation? I was reading in this psychology study that worringly people perceived a beautiful attractive female as having good positive qualities compared to her unattractive counterparts.

Well my question is gonna go in many directions. Please just share ur views and not look for 1 question. Rather see it as a discussion. First of all I'm going through a really hard time now in my life. Problem is-I look at men. I blieve in God and I've read alot of questions about if gay sex and being gay is a sin. Some people say that its makin 'love' and that its not considered a sin. Well in my view, I do see it as a sin, bcoz the rectum was not created for sex and God designed our bodies to have sex with the opposite. Its just obvious. Secondly, I have looked at my life and made notes of what could have caused me to b attracted to otha men. My cousins are all girls and I grew up with them. Ive been made fun of by other kids at school and was always around girls. Theres alot of other things that contributed to that and I dont think that I was born gay. Its environment that causes it. God created us to see right from wrong. I dont wanna b gay. It does not feel right.

On the 12th of February, 1809 nearly 200 years ago - a young, poor illiterate woman in Virginia named Nancy Hanks Lincoln, gave birth to a son in a log cabin built along the banks of the south fork of Nolin Creek, near what is now Hodgenville, Kentucky. That baby, whom she named Abraham, grew to become one of our greatest, and most tragic, national leaders.
Lincoln was the only American President not to have declared himself a member of any particular faith. This fact has given rise to much speculation. In fact, there are those who believe honest Abe was Jewish.
His name was Abraham. His great grandfather was named Mordechai. He was neither raised in a church nor did he ever belong to a church.
When he was assassinated, whole Jewish communities sat shiva. Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise, who created Reform Judaism, eulogized the fallen President.
When questioned on his religious beliefs, Abe recommended every American study, learn & follow Exodus chapter 20, known as the 10 Commandments.

Many people live fairly religiously always in fear of going to Hell or fearing God's wrath. Is it really worth it? To waste your lifetime going to church and praying and not experiencing life? I understand not all religions are like this, but there are many that require certain roles including the Pope and bishops. These roles cannot get married, or go to a bar with friends.. They have committed their life to religion and I think that's somewhat of a waste of life. I have nothing against the Pope or any religion, I just think they deserve a little fun here and there just like everyone else.
