GOD:Let me ask you something. If you were something other than a human being. If you were a different kind of animal. If you were a small bird, a sparrow. What would your world be like?
HUMAN: I should make my home in a tree, in the branch of an elm. I should hunt insects for food, straw for my nest and in the springtime I should sing for a companion.
GOD: And you would know nothing of politics, the cutting of marble or mathematics.
HUMAN: Of course not.
GOD: But why not?
HUMAN: My mind would be too small.
GOD: As a sparrow your mind would be too small. Even with the best of teachers?
HUMAN: If Jesus himself were to perch on my branch and lecture till he fell off from exhaustion, still the limits of my mind would prevent me from understanding.
GOD: And as a man can you accept that there may be certain realities beyond the limits of your comprehension?
HUMAN: I could not accept that. And I would be a fool.

Yeah, because that makes SO much sense.
I would also create a devil ant to make them do bad things and then when they did the bad things, I'd blame them and stick them in a microwave oven forever. I'd tell them I did this because they have free will.
Also, I would appoint certain ants (the craziest, most obnoxious and violent of the bunch) to write a book for me and spread my word. Any other ants who didn't listen to the special ants, I would torment by squishing their children or making them alcoholics.
Eventually I would demand that my special ants kill all the ants who didn't believe in me. I would tell them I planned to show up one day and judge them all. All the special ants would get an ant farm of their own made of gold and full of magical sand. The bad ants would get microwaved.
I am a just and loving ant god.

If my father was God and that was what I needed to do for the forgiving of the ant sins then yes. But to compare ants to humans would mean you have to say the ants are the greater beings and the humans would only exist as insects on the same farm.

Well, I highly doubt that this is a serious question, but I'll give it a go. IF the ants were capable of understanding the rules that were made for them, and IF the ants were capable of understanding the consequences for breaking the rules, I would expect them to follow the rules as I made them. I'm assuming that you are referring to Christians' belief that Gods' holy son came to the Earth in the form of Jesus to save us from our sins. The most obvious problem with your comparison, however, is that we are humans, not ants. We are capable of love and compassion, ants are just ants. They are not a fair or accurate comparison. So much for your attempt at cheeky humor.

Well, since I did not create the ants in the first place. Since the ants do not have a soul. Since the ants do not have the intellect to follow any rules I established. Then I would say no, since I also am not God.

I would first need to understand my motivation for creating the ant farm. And also, what could be gained from me dying for their sins? Would the ants care, say 2000 years from now? would it make a difference?

Since you had no way to create the ants or the farm without using already made materials, then no. But, if you truly had an open mind, then you could see how ignorant the question really is. Unless you are really the "god within you".
Those who believe live, and those who have no true faith post inane questions.

No, b/c ants and humans are two different beings. Humans have the ability of thought, compassion, love, hate, everything that makes a human a human. Ants just live. They are there b/c they are there. I think dying for an ant and dying for a human are different ideals.

Open the nest of ants and there are thousands of the little creatures running around doing whatever it is they do.
Dashing around in a form of panic and assumed that, for an ant, this crazy mayham was as exhibition of emotion.
The power is being poured and they start to die and struggle. This is the end of their colony.

Excellent question and I would like to add this if you don't mind -
How would you incarnating yourself and dying as an ant have any effect anyway? How does death do anything for anyone? What does dying accomplish? Especially if you were able to take back your original form.
