Graham happily admits that he has a close friendship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il - as he had one with the dictator’ father and predecessor Kim Il-sung. In June of 2005 he claimed on Larry King Live that the Kim dynasty considers him “a part of their family.” This must be disturbing information for many people throughout the world, particularly Christians, for the Kim government is responsible for the worst forms of political and religious repression throughout the second half of the twentieth century. Religious freedom in North Korea is non existent- Kim Jong-il, like his late father, declares himself to be a deity.
