I work in a student lab and there are people in here that do not need to be seniors that dont really know anything about computers when their field of study is computers!?!? I think they should make you take a required field in at least computer literacy. GD Garden Lanterns!!!

it's just not for everybody. Many people just cannot wrap their mind around it, and, after all, it's not as fun as kickball. Ya think?

It only makes your position look even more foolish than it already does. Like the moron that stated that "science is against the theory of evolution". I had to sit, open mouthed when I read that. It was so utterly false and yet so completely brazen at the same time.
No wonder you people are confused. Your heads hurt when scientists explain the FACTS behind the theory of Evolution (yes something can be a fact AND a theory at the same time, look at Gravity. No, gravity is NOT a law. Sorry, it's still a theory) so you turn to charlatans like "Dr." Ken Hovind instead. A liar and a fraud he may be but he also knows how to play his audience. Use small words and simplistic (yet altogether false) arguments and they'll eat it up!
It's sad, truely sad, when one of you thinks you can "outwit" thousands of collective years of scientfic research, with nothing more than Pious Fraud and some stupid platitudes. You have my pity.

Do you think that religion is the "opiate of the people"?

Is believing that there is no "god" a belief in itself?

God mercy and forgiviness in the Quran:
Quran ch6
[54] When those who believe in Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) come to you, say: "Salâmun 'Alaikum" (peace be on you); your Lord has written (prescribed) Mercy for Himself, so that, if any of you does evil in ignorance, and thereafter repents and does righteous good deeds (by obeying Allâh), then surely, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

in Trinitians:
God cannot forgive unless He sends His Own Son. to be tortured, humiliated, and then get killed by the people that God has created. but even after that you will still have to ask for forgiviness and repent so you can be forgiving.

Jesus said: My God! my God, why haven't you forsaken me?

is that right?

Since God is everywhere and knows everything and sees all, He must be watching me if(alright, when) I masturbate.

Is this true, and if so, is there a way to get Him to stop watching? I mean, come on, that's just rude. I don't appreciate that sort of monitoring, and I think that if God truly loves us, He could at least give us a little privacy.

Is that too much to ask?

I know that, unlike Catholics, Protestants believe that the bible interprets itself.

If someone looks at a verse in scripture and they claim that it means something radically different than what you interpret it to mean, do you think that they must be lying?

For example, I see that the bible when taken into context is clearly consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Do you think that I am lying?

May God bless you.

I mean, why pick the beta, it's not even pronounced as an s.
Go for the sigma, especially the capital sigma, that would be way cooler!

Everytime I go out to eat I leave a 15% tip just a habit, but there are rare occasions when the waiter/waitress are just so dam rude, inconsiderate, or pardon the expression "so dam stupid"(don't mean to affend the waiters/waitresses out there) but my God. Some can't do anything right, and well a tip was not meritted. Do you think I'm right in not leaving a tip, because of how poor the service was or should it still be included? Not trying to sound as if I'm paying them for there service, cause they do get a pay check most of the time, but I mean a tip is a sorta thank you for all you did to make this meal pleasant, is it not? So am I right in not leaving a tip or not?
