It only makes your position look even more foolish than it already does. Like the moron that stated that "science is against the theory of evolution". I had to sit, open mouthed when I read that. It was so utterly false and yet so completely brazen at the same time.
No wonder you people are confused. Your heads hurt when scientists explain the FACTS behind the theory of Evolution (yes something can be a fact AND a theory at the same time, look at Gravity. No, gravity is NOT a law. Sorry, it's still a theory) so you turn to charlatans like "Dr." Ken Hovind instead. A liar and a fraud he may be but he also knows how to play his audience. Use small words and simplistic (yet altogether false) arguments and they'll eat it up!
It's sad, truely sad, when one of you thinks you can "outwit" thousands of collective years of scientfic research, with nothing more than Pious Fraud and some stupid platitudes. You have my pity.

Transitional fossils you claim don't exist.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/
Macroevolution. Yes, it's been observed.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-speciation.html
You claim speciation has never been observed? Lies again. Here is proof.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-misconceptions.html#chance
The utterly false "evolution is random chance so it's impossible" argument.

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/thermo.html
And my favorite, the "the second law of thermodynamics proves evolution is impossible" argument. Again, utterly false.

There you go, if you are curious, read. If not, then don't bother posting as you can contribute nothing to the discussion.

Wild1handy,
Thanks for proving a point. That point being that you'd rather rant about a subject that you have NO knowledge of, rather than read about it. And after I even put a link to the explanation of a Theory too. Tisk tisk. You really should do a TEENY bit of reading before parading your ignorance for all to see you know.

Kitten,
Oh really? Could you provide to me then, ONE shred of credible proof or even evidence for the myth of creation being anything other than myth?
I'll save you the trouble, you can't. There is NO credible (remember that word, it's important) evidence for the myth of creation. None.

Diamond Doll,
Oh sweetie you make me so very sad. You lack of education is showing honey. PLEASE read the friggen links I provided for you. What? Do you need someone to hold your hand and read it to you slowly or something?

eyelovesjeebus,
No,YOU have beliefs. We have facts. Get that through your thick skull once and for all ok? Mythology will NEVER replace fact and science.
And you know it too. It's why most of you are so very threatened by science. Tell me, did you read the links I posted? Probably not. Every lie you creationists tell about Evolution is refuted easily. And you know that too. The only arguments you have work on people as gullible and ill-educated as yourselves. The rest of us recognize childish lies for what they are...

Your speaking over Creationists heads....This is why Religion in all its aspects survives as it speaks to the lowest denominators.
Once everyone is educated they begin to see and understand....until we find a way to educate everyone we will simply be pounding our heads against a wall.

The BEST way is to do the same thing Christians and all other religious zealots do...educate our children...help them to see the lies and to understand God and Jesus are the exact same as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny....figments of someones imagination.

It would seem from your question that you are as closed minded as the creationists. There are many problems with the theory of evolution and a lot of fosil evidence agaisnt, granted not as much as the ridiculous God fable, non the less a lot.
People for whatever reason want to "know" how we got here, how the planet got here etc, and there are two theories floating around out there God and Evolution, neither can be proved.
Lets face it the religious God Myth is simply that, no more needs to be said. So lets look at the Scientific version.:
1-Matter can niether be created or detroyed yet obviously it was for the theory of eveloution to work.
2-Getting past this obvious flaw in the theory, the earth formed, and a lighting bolt or whatever struck the primordial slush and lo and behold bateria or an ameba, or something formed out of nowhere...come on for Evolution to work you have to believe that life can create itself, and evidence you have to support tis? Hmm thought not.
3-Then this what ever morphed into whatever and whatever and finaly a fish, then an amphibian, then reptiles birds and insects, then dinosaurs, then, mammals and finally man.
And you believe this fairy tale......come on you sound fairly intellegent.
4-The current by some scientists estimates trillions of diferent DNA came from one strain, get real.
5-There is no answer. I doubt that sience would ever be able to find an answer and it doesnt matter anyway as our civilazation wont survive the next 50 years.
6-The botom line is stop wasting your time trying to deffend Evolution and attacking Creationism or Intellegent Design, both are flawed and wrong, and in the end it doesnt matter.
How you live your life is all that matters. Dont waste time and energy on how we got it, IT JUST DOESNT MATTER!

No, it can not be ":fact" and a theory all at the same time. This is something evolutionists use alot, to cover up the fact that what they BELIEVE to be true is yet still unproven.

Lets go with gravity. Its still a theory, the law of gravity, you said? The law of gravity is a throe, still in need of perfecting to understand it in its entirety. SO, that makes in impossible to be fact, as what can yet be proven could change the "fact", making it instead a belief. Belief is trusting its truth, when out lying proof yet exists.

The same is true of evolution. In science 'fact' is an objective and verifiable observation. It is usually contrasted to a theory, which is an explanation of or interpretation of facts. And THAT is by definition of the very words themselves.

Don't need the links, thanks. I have seen many of them posted here before, and read quite a few. They are skewed. Whats the idea that anything posted on the Internet must be true? Link to it all you want, I could link to countless sites to, but you wont believe them either. Personal insults wont get my attention, as it has been my experience that when people start slinging them around, its usually to negate the fact and change the subject. Since you have no personal knowledge of my level of education, field, or intelligence, your wasting my time.

On the other hand, making you sad kinda made my day. Thanks!!

You are incredibly bold. You have lumped an entire people group into the stereotype that they all try "to post lies masquerading as science". If you'd shut up and listen for a half a second instead of going on a ranting, raving lunatic lecture series backed by websites that may or may not be legitimate, you'd find out that not all creationist try to discount science and/or evolution. Some take the Bible very literally and if you change any of it, you are a blasphemer. These sorts of people are radicals and I would prefer not to be lumped into a group with these sorts of people. I believe very much in evolution and "facts" that science have produced. However, I believe it all occurred by a Guiding Hand. The tone and force with which you asked/stated your question/statement leads me to believe that you are not only concerned only with what you think you can prove, but also with trying to "condemn" as many "creationists" as you can. It is my suggestion to you (mind you I'm going to use small words and simplistic arguments on this) is that you tone down your anger, stop trying to prove something that happened before you were born, stop stereotyping any/all people who call themselves a creationist, and start concerning yourself with intelligent discussion with people who can match wits instead of a bunch of naive Christians on Yahoo Answers. I guarantee you, when you match wits with someone who is educated and can help you to expand and solidify your "theories" that you will feel much more fulfilled than when you come in here and go into "creationist" bashing. Good luck.

The reply is not quite complex. Lets appear on the pyramids. Solid constructed constructions. Took plenty of inspiration and energy to construct. Lets appear at a humans emotions of safety. People are inclined while their born. Parents deliver them a way of safety. When they develop older they've doubts approximately their skills. Whether they're equipped or now not, they achieve the age in which they have got to take the learning wheels off and reside. People are insecure and pass to paintings constructing their experience of safety once more. Some begin with bodily force others start with fiscal force, however with a purpose to quite determine safety you have got to put off doubt. Religion is the duct tape that does that. They persuade themselves that there's a plan in location and the whole lot that occurs in existence too them is aspect of that plan. I name that autopilot. When ever they cannot provide an explanation for whatever they convey the magic terms into line. "God has a plan." "God movements in mysterious approaches." You get the snapshot. Now when you construct a pyramid and the bottom is not very powerful. You get a tumbled mess. If each strand in their private safety is constructed upon the groundwork in their faith, then if a further similarly footed safety degree comparable to technological know-how begins telling humans that there is no god and that the bottom in their pyramid is jello, then they begin combating again. They have got to keep their notion process for his or her existence to have which means. Since faith is a twisted mass of interpretive messages it's not a stretch to detect that they are going to reinvent the language of technological know-how to look after and advertise themselves. A notion is most powerful while all consider it and none are there to nay say it. Religion is an international conquering crusade.

i'm not gonna try and argue with you bout creationism and theories i really don't give a damn bout. i am gonna comment on the fact that you seem to have no respect for what other ppl believe and seem to be quite cruel when somebody does try and argue with you. if you wanted ppl to see your side of the argument you're goin bout the wrong way. maybe instead of insultin ppl with what you call 'intelligence' why don't you try and kindly point out flaws in their argument. that's why ppl don't like bible thumper's they always try and bash their beliefs into you. i'm all for arguments of any kind, as long as they don't escalate into what you're doin. all it does is create negativity. oh and go ahead and insult me if you really feel like it's a priority, all it does is show that you really are an idiot that can't make a valid point without sayin somethin hurtful. and yes, i realize that i've been insultin you too but i've been called worse things then an idiot so i'm beyond carin

Why does there have to be a conflict between God and science? The conflict is between arrogant theologists who think they know it all and big headed scientists who are sure they do.

Maybe both sides ought to quit posting thier ideas as if they were "facts"?

And maybe we ALL ought to quit posting questions and answers that are so long nobody wants to read them......

What is the question? How can anyone "answer" if there is no question? It seems as if everyone are "charlatans" or "whatever" whether, or not, they believe, or disbelieve, "whatever"! No one is correct, except you. There is a possibility that you need to share your rhetoric with a professional person. But will they listen to you? Wow, an actual question!!!!

Daniel 1

There is no 'science' to the theory of Evolution. It is a theory, ie, it is one mans opinion of how life on this planet began. It's a THEORY, that;s why it is referred to as the theory of evolution.
Get it!
